PI-Man
A few bronze sheathing nails I found recently and a nice small diamond 14k ring same day. All in the nice black sandy area in picture. I fortunately omitted the piles of junk I also dug and it was a bunch. The nails were used to attach the lead & copper sheathing onto the hulls of the old galleons to protect from the damage of shipworms. This one came from a unknown wreck that is somewhere in the 1600’s range. I sanded one so you can see the bronze underneath. Not bad for being 300 to 400 years old. The ring was the kicker in all that black sand which was in multiple layers down to a foot.

JCR
Those Bronze nails are pretty neat. I assume they washed up on the beach still in the ship's planking which is now gone.
Valens Legacy
Nice finds and I would be hitting that area for the ship that they came off of. Very nice ring, was it 10k or 14k? Good luck on your next outing and stay safe.
