Popular Post JCR
I got back out for a few hours to the Old Roman's homesite on Independence Day morning. Not too hot but it is getting dry & the red dirt is getting hard to dig. Still learning the new Legend dt & bE mode characteristics. It does really well in the minerals. No ferrous surprises and 3 interesting period targets. The advertising fob is a bit unusual as the slots are on the side, not top & bottom. I wonder if maybe it came with a new saddle or harness. I had heard of Heiser gun leather but did not realize their history. They were world renown for quality products. I assume the Nickle plated item is an escutcheon or piece for leather, the studs on the back seem odd. And of course, the ladies of yesteryear had their needs also.
Doc Bach
Very nice find and piece of what I call western advertising JCR. Looks like old Herman H had himself a going concern there with the four business addresses.

Hershey Jeff
I really like the back of that fob and all the information it contains. It’s not often we find things that give us that much detail. Thanks for sharing!
UT Dave
I love finds that have enough detail to be looked up like that. Good going! - Dave 1
