The MI-6 does work as a stand alone traditional pinpointer, utilizing a traditional speaker, vibration (on/off), and LED (on/off). It is waterproof and features a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery. There are three levels of sensitivity and two audio modes - Pitch or Pulse. I see at least one U.S. dealer listing the MI-6 for pre-order at $199.00

DEUS owners will enjoy extra capability via the wireless connection but a DEUS is not required to own and use this pinpointer.

Watching this video looks to me that once targets are in the ground sensitivity as compared to the Garrett Pro Pointer will be a push. That is not a bad thing. Seems like a reasonable value to me once you figure the built in rechargeable battery. Any Deus connection features, etc. are sort of a bonus.

Mi-6 pinpointer is great!! I have now test it maybe 15hour in field...headphone connection is fast..sorry my english
