    The detector is made to get wet. I don’t see anything being able to short.

    Checked the detectors port with my fluke. No voltage detected, one way current, should be fine.

    Checked mine, looks ok so far.

    Put a coin on the ground and practice pinpointing to find out where your sweet spot is for full signal. Mine is right around the Q in EQX. A handheld pinpointer is almost required. Very helpful.

    No lag for me with the headphones at all.

    I have both. So far I have definitely dug stuff up with the 800 in olaces my atpro has gone over numerous times.
