  7. Hopefully we will have Digger Bob as a guest speaker on Friday evening. Not sure of any other events. NV Chris would be the one to ask about areas to detect around Rye Patch.

  10. 1 week away until the event. Mark your calendars. Hope to see some of you there.
  11. I wish I'd known about the mercury dime earlier. I would have bought a couple. Also my favorite coin.
  12. Our guest speaker Ray Mills has had to back out, for a friend in need. So we are looking for another guest speaker. Anyone on here up for that ???
  13. Gambler, we are expecting 400-500 attendees. But most do drive in the morning of the event. There will be a campsite somewhere there for you. But it just might not be a prime one close to the bathrooms or have trees. So I wouldn't not worry about having a camp.
  14. Klunker, I think your on to something there. Lots of berries, pinecones, yellow jackets. Might be a heavy winter. Got down to 34° last night.
  15. Not prospecting related. But when out detecting this time of year, I always take a bucket, gloves and clippers. I bring as many home as possible to ensure my wife will make some great jellies to last until next year.
  16. Got word from the president. He said the group camp is for our members first. But if there is room left, anyone attending the event can stay there in the group camp. Im heading out Friday morning, but got a friend saving me a spot in his campsite. The lower campsites are better.
  17. Rob Allison has donated a Makro Racer pro package. Dave Varabioff of Goldbay has donated paydirt. Chris Miller of Prospectors Choice has donated a Scout highbanker. Brandon Niece has donated a few book he authored. Thanks all for your generous dontations.
  18. Here is Ricks picture. Got it from his post on FB. I use the simlpe resize too now.
