  1. River is way up from this morning . Raw sewage is pumping out the manhole and is flowing right by my house and into the Feather River . Yet dredging is harmful .
  2. Here is a picture from Saturday of the middle fork of the Feather River , right above Portola . Lots of standing water in Sierra Valley above. The river is starting to rise slightly . Rain is banging loudly right now on my metal roof. Will get another pic today to show reference to the rising. The 2nd pic is approximately 16 hrs later. Looks like it is up about a foot.
  3. Glad mother nature has my week planned out. Plow , shovel and repeat . Another 86 of 97 storm wouldn't hurt my feelings .
  4. Here is a link I found. https://3dprintingindustry.com/news/3d-printing-portable-metal-detector-40509/
  5. Lol, not froze solid. I stopped by today Klunker, Luther was there to greet me. He likes ham omelette. As you know klunker, I have my own special detector in the works. Stay tuned. It is still in R&D. ( Rural Development ). Btw, we got down to -1°f last night. And lots more snow than you low landers.
  6. It made me think of it yesterday when I saw the new ATX coils post . Will be interesting to see the finished product of the Frankenstein detector.
  7. Steve, wondering if you have ever brought this project to fruition ?
  8. Norm, only thing I can think of is to contact JP directly . I have had mine for 2 years now with no issues other than the clip on the back cracked in half. Had to reinforce with gorilla tape.
  9. Notice Klunker that I liked your post. I will do my darn best to keep you in the lead and keep PP back.
  10. I can see it now, you created a monster with this. Pandering Paul will be creating stunts and gimmicks to get likes and feed his narcissistic , egotistical tendencies . It wasn't enough to make him Detectorprospector Man of the year . Now he wants more. He wants Klunkers place on the list. There is now way he can catch Steve. But he will stop at nothing until he gets 1st place of all of the fourm members.
  11. The area's I hunt. I run ,difficult , high yield , low or high smoothing , sensitivity 12-20. Many other detectorists here locally also run similar settings. Happy New Year .
  12. I find the GPZ very sensitive to EMI. I can't get within 1/4 mile away from any electrical lines. I can hear the electronics from low flying aircraft. Certain areas that I detect in has more EMI than other areas .
  13. Dilek, MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU! And Nokta Makro. I personally want to thank you for your wonderful sponsorship of our Rye Patch nuggetshoot.
  14. Working just fine here on my Android smartphone . Merry Christmas .
  15. Sorry , no Czechs . We will accept buckskins, clams or samolians.
  16. I was recently helping my good ol friend Norm on his claim known for huge gold. He was digging, I was detecting . I got a booming signal, told him to go a little deeper . Bam, out pops this massive lump of gold. It was almost to heavy for the machine . Well got to go, got to strap this huge nugget down on the lowboy and head to the auction . Bidding starts at 1 million dollhairs.
  17. Because they broke the mold when they made Klunker. If you were a logger in back in the day. You know how heavy the old chainsaws were. Any detector is like Balsa wood to him.
  18. I like the drawtite trailer hitch model. That way you can go, where you have already been. ?
  19. Maybe a find of the month. Polls And some DP Apparel . Hats, Tshirts, can cozies .
  20. I would like to see more on pocket and lode prospecting . Are they all going to be here on this site? How we can switch from fourm to the classifieds , but have more clickable options. Jewelry , coins, relics ,geoplgy... I think this is a great idea.
