  1. appears to be a replacement machine for the e-trac class.
  2. The first country to present after the official first presentation at Dedectival on September 11-12 will be Greece at an event held by our country representative on September 17 near where I live, I will be able to see it up close for the first impressions 🙂
  3. it appears to be a sugar tong from the last century.
  4. I have noticed when a new machine comes out people panic thinking it will make them find more targets... I believe that with the existing technology the performance of a new detector cannot take off and make much of a difference... I firmly believe that the difference in finding desirable goals is passion, love and experience… Changing detectors every year does not make them more effective, success comes when you spend a lot of time with a reliable detector and become one with it. sorry for my english which is limited and unfortunately i am using translation.
  5. using gpr for several years the data we receive contains noise which is eliminated as much as possible only when processing the data in special programs, it would be good if the filters used by the special programs are automatically activated and the noise is automatically removed as we receive real time data... Perhaps in a similar way a metal detector could clean out the noise and read the signals of metal targets more clearly.
  6. let's not forget that there are many pulse detectors on the market for relic hunters that do not have ground balancing and this makes them completely unsuitable for heavy terrain.
  7. in greece where i live a gpx 5000 costs 4000 euro and the average salary of a worker is 600 euro 💶 i would like to know what is the average salary in australia of a worker to understand if the garrett price is really high so that it is difficult to absorb in Buy.
  8. when we turn on Iron Check on 5K you have 10 levels of operation to choose from and I have this question watching the video, to Garrett when we turn on Iron Check what level do you think it operates at compared to 5K?
  9. unfortunately vlf detectors miss many valuable targets even at shallow depths due to many factors.... I've experimented several times with a vlf scanning a point of interest and after digging up all the targets the vlf could read I came back to the same spot with the GPX5000 and was really disappointed with how many good targets the vlf left behind. Sure using vlf to find coins is relaxing and fun but unfortunately there are big losses of the desired targets... also an experienced gpx operator will use a 10*5 dd coil in places where there is trash and make a comfortable and proper survey...
  10. okm has been dealing with geophysical machines for many years .. in geophysical machines they make sure to have beautiful images in underground measurements but unfortunately it does not correspond to reality... In short their geophysical machines are simple magnetometers that work in a program and the values they get are totally funny for those who know geophysical machines.... I won't comment on the distance machines because I don't think it's worth saying anything...🙂
  11. okm doesn't have a reliable machine, I would suggest minelab & Garrett.... also Lorenz has great pulses that have big frames for a lot of ground coverage too but you won't find the balance of minelab & Garrett.
  13. hi it's great that a very practical machine has come out that seems to match Minelab who have had a monopoly on pulse detectors for years...competition can only do all us hobbyists good...hope to see other companies in the game where it will be to our advantage to see better machines at competitive prices.
  14. Here in Greece things are tragic in terms of marketing imagine vlf detectors that can detect metals up to three meters deep 🤣🤣🤣
  15. if you want to know the truth, you can place the target sideways on a mound and try it will be a much more reliable test.
  16. no matter how good the ground is it is impossible to hit the specific target at this depth with a vlf machine and an 11 inch coil ... I am absolutely sure that the signal they received was false from the extreme settings ...
  17. Friend Panagiotis, we have discussed the issue many times and we have come to the conclusion that with the settings given by the detector we can not face this problem. I hope that at some point Minelab's engineers will build a large coil that ignores small targets to satisfy the research of researchers looking for our way…. It would also be very interesting to learn from someone who knows how to build a GPX if he can achieve what we are looking for with a proper coil build.
  18. I have not tried this, but I have tried large coils that no one can avoid the small rubbish. I believe that gpx is made of gold nuggets and it may be impossible to operate in the way I imagine with any coil on the market. it would be great or Minelab to develop a large coil that is not sensitive to small objects to its existing pulses or to build a new pulse detector for researchers looking for deep large objects but having a reliable high balance.
  19. the 2 boxes apart from the fact that we want big enough goals to achieve depth we have a big problem from moisture and soil ores I personally do not consider them suitable for any research.
  20. Good morning friend George, a pulse detector like the Lorenz 1.5 * 1.5 coil machine can discard small objects and detect deeper large targets. The problem, however, is that these pulsating machines do not have a good ground balance with all that entails. .. basically my question is if Minelab can achieve a large coil 1.5 * 1.5 for gpx that would not be sensitive to small objects and would get the best possible depth in larger ones, while maintaining excellent ground balance .. Many researchers will pay a lot of money for such a reliable pulse machine, but Minelab is definitely more interested in nugget hunters and not so many heirlooms ...
  21. Thank you very much Jeff for your answer ... if minelab made a coil that would discard small items it would have huge sales in Europe ...
  22. I have worked on several pulse detectors looking for boxes of British pounds that were hidden during the war. I have come to the conclusion that the most reliable pulse detector is made by minelab, but my problem is that it is very sensitive even with a large coil to very small objects, so it becomes very tedious and can sometimes hide the large target underneath. from small rubbish ...
  24. Pulse detectors with large frames 1 x 1 -2 x 2 -3x3 have good depth in large objects but lag behind in the balance of the ground resulting in problems caused by incorrect signals ... The gpx with the right coils can carry out research in almost all soils without any problems, achieving excellent soil balance ... for information I will tell you the nagget 25 mono exceeds two meters in an object 30 x 30 x 50 in clay soil ... the 2 boxes, apart from being unstable, do not have enough depth and no experienced operator prefers them .... sorry if you do not fully understand what I am saying, I am just using translation.
  25. I do not sell machines and records to make fake videos to deceive someone, however anyone who has gpx and an experienced ear understands very well from the sound alone 😁
