The book says it's a venomous and aggressive night hunter, and it's also got long fangs.. Sadly, it broke it's neck tripping over the doormat on its way out.. I put a picture on Facebook and copped a lot of flack for killing it.. I don't mind snakes in the bush but in my bedroom is another story.. I don't want the things in my house, I'm still trying to work out how they get in.. Until I do, I'll go to bed wearing my new gumboot snake gaiters.. You seem to like animals Erik....Perhaps a pet Mongoose would work like a charm?

Find that hole and plug it. Put down mouse poision and that should also take care of the snakes. Great advice Captain, but you need to change the word 'mouse' to 'gecko'.. This snake hunts for lizards, frogs, birds and mammals.. So far no mammals, birds or frogs have invaded the place but geckos always seem to find a way to get inside.. They're like magicians, they pop up everywhere.. Not sure where I can get a hold of gecko poison..

The critics have obviously never experienced, the spinechilling moment when you see a snake go under the fridge. I support all animals and their rights to share the planet, but you have to draw a line in the sand.

I nearly stepped on this one in the dark on my way to turn on the light.. I clocked it out of the corner of my eye as I walked out of the bedroom.. It was already going wild, rearing right up and striking at me.. I'm with you about sharing this planet with other creatures but like you said a line has to be drawn somewhere.. My line is at the front door! I was worried that if I kicked it out it would only come back again, and I'd step on it in the dark.. I also killed the other one.. That'll learn them!
