Black Antenna Wire

Detectornado

Recommended Posts

Since it is only transmitting radio waves, the diameter difference of the wire shouldn't affect performance. I saw a photo somewhere and the sticky thing was used to hold the remote end of the wire on the top of the shaft directly behind the remote. If the detector is not fully submerged it should work with the puck or the remote. If diving, it would function best attached to the top of the full sized remote.

You can now order the new shorter black antenna from Serious Detecting while stock lasts. I just ordered mine.

That's the 65cm one for the shorter diving shaft. The 115cm is what you want for the full size shaft.

Correct. If you want a black antenna for the full shaft you’re out of luck so far. 65 cm is only about 25.5 in. This would be for those who want to use it for a diving configuration.
