Detecting The River For Relics Turned Up Two Handguns Today

Somebody lost their boot gun. 

I dunno.  Finding firearms is a headache.  I'd be more inclined to toss them back like an illegal size fish.   But now you can't cause you walked away with them, and posted about them.  So you pretty much have to turn them in and deal with the stink eye and the 100 questions to follow.

But I enjoyed hearing about them and looking at the pics 🙂

The 25 acp FIE Titan E28 semi automatic is no longer being produced but a similar Saturday Night Special based on the Raven is currently being made by Phoenix Arms. The Titan has no mag but it is in cocked position. A round could still be in the chamber but I highly doubt that it would still be "live" or that the gun still even remotely functions.

I agree with others, I would turn them into local law enforcement. They have zero historic or collector value.

If the Titan was instead a Colt Pony or something similar I might have a different opinion depending on what condition it was in.

I am not surprised that you found them in a river.

Tossed stolen pieces most likely,possibly accidental or known oopsie without effort to retrieve like one would gove if he dropped a nice piece and low % shooting crime related odds. Like ol dude said those are toss backs when other option is powered up ego po po oath means notta interaction! Outing looked fun though and makes me jones our for fam yakking.
