Goldseeker5000
I didn't take these photos the homeowner took them in Augusta. I haven't seen one bear this year so far. A friend and rancher here said the reason you aren't seeing the black bears is because the grizzlies here are killing them. He found two carcasses already this spring and summer. 1

Jim McCulloch
Reminds me of the immortal scene in the movie "Jeremiah Johnson" where the old trapper asks Johnson "Pilgrim, can you skin griz?" ?

Aww, that’s comforting to know ? Now, to prepare for my adventure into the American wilderness, I’ll just need a tiny little can of pepper spray and some tiny little bells on my shoes. Correct? And how do I know I’m in bear country? ?
Jim McCulloch
Easy. Piles of grizzly dung will smell like pepper spray.
Northeast
And have bells in them. C’mon Jim, I set it up for you ? One of my favourite jokes, that I first heard on DP forum.
Lynk
There is a pic from the front of the shed and a pic from the back. That suggests the photographer went around to the back of the shed to get a pic of the sleeping bear, assuming that's the order they were taken. Hopefully they had a tank to drive around to get these.
