It didn‘t stop snowing …

The two loonies at the beach:

The snow has been 7-8 inches deep, so we didn‘t find all that much this time.

Sinclair, you are INSANE!

Oh yes, my buddy and I are 😅
You shoud have seen my wifes face, as I told her we're heading to the beach.. priceless 🙈

With Audio Response at 7 and Sens at 99 the machine went very deep - but you loose a lot of separation due to the distance to the ground through the snow. I ran it at Audio Response 6 and Sens 95 most of the time. Luckily the sand didn't freeze - I guess the snow acts like an good isulator.

I've counted the cutlery.. well.. >100 spoons (some of them went into our kitchen actually), ~50 forks and some knifes. It's crazy to see all that stuff piled up. I once keept all I've found within a month.. it was ridiculous how much trash and stuff came together.

🥶I’ve experienced winters like that in many different places of the world.  That’s why I live in Florida.  😊

Weather and beach-wise I wished I‘d live there 😃

Tomorrow doesn‘t look better:

Actually it‘s not very often that cold over here, because of the sea.

We had absolutely no wind, so it has been surprisingly comfortable to hunt. Wind is key at those low temperatures. We went to a nearby beach, which has been hunted to death in the summer. So I played a little bit with the sensitivity. Settled in at 98 and the machine ran dead quiet at that beach! No jewelry this time, interestingly very few old currency coins, but quite a lot crusty current coins 🤔

10,70€, 2,50DM and two far gone zinc pre WW2 coins. Not too bad!
After 2h we decided to cancel - the sand got too frozen.
