Prickly Prospector
Left field... What are the chances the E1500 has a deep gold sibling? Or programmable update? May not be ML who supersede the current deep gold detectors mentioned. The way the E1500 came outta nowhere.... lol..just say'n.
phrunt
True, they may be working on a E2500 which is the other end, similar pricing but targeting deep targets, using larger GPX coils.
Prickly Prospector
Definately caught ML knapping.. Should stir things up again, once you and others can get some field videos, assuming it performs of course. Nothing I've read so far indicates it won't though. Just waiting on your reports....lol
Aureous
Re the 5000, my only certain info is that the 5000 PCB's are no longer in production, since 2020. So depending on how many 5000 PCB's they now have in store, will determine how many 'New' 5000's can be manufactured. Its simply not a focus product for Minelab anymore. If they continue selling a few dozen each year, great for them coz the costs are already paid for, its all profit for that model. When they run out, they run out....no biggie for Minelab. 1
RONS DETECTORS MINELAB
55 minutes ago, Prickly Prospector said: Left field... What are the chances the E1500 has a deep gold sibling? That seems very possible since they already have a detector platform started they could just add the different timings needed and a counter weight on it for balancing out the larger coils. Might go over 4 pounds though?
Prickly Prospector
Is this an effort in marketing by ML, put on FB to draw attention away from E1500 and back to big gold? Talk about a Zed plug. I traced the find back 3 months to another article, but was uncomfortable posting an Enews link. 1
