tvanwho
Hello... The Gold Racer is in our testing stage. Once we finalize our tests, samples will be sent to a few testers in the USA, Australia and Africa. It will be released in the same form and shape of the Racer but in a different color and the stock coil will be the 10X5'' coil. That is all I can share at this moment. Thought I would share this tidbit with you guys...I wonder who the USA testers will be? -Tom
Steve Herschbach
I tried to get my Racer with 5"x10" coil out for some nugget detecting recently but the weather did not cooperate. I got ran out by snow squalls! I do hope to give it a spin soon. I gave no idea on when the Gold Racer will be available. Hopefully this year. jasong
Has anyone heard anything about the Gold Racer release or if its gone to field testing stage yet? Any new updates like operating frequency? So close to pulling the trigger on an F19 but I keep hoping to see a review on this machine first.

Ridge Runner
Hi Steve The Racer is running at 14 KHz and the Racer Gold KHZ is unknown at this time. You said something about using 28 KHz. I'm just wondering if your saying use both 14 and 28 KHz at the same time? If we can do it with a coin machine with a ID then why not a gold detector. On detecting a target you pull the trigger and it would go to one of the KHz. I just hope that you be the one to get their hands on the first that hits the USA. Chuck Anders PS Thanks for the Forum where we can talk about any and all detectors. Is it possible one could cycle between 14 and 28 KHz ?
Steve Herschbach
Chris Ralph brought up freq around 30 kHz idea but it was just speculation. We have to wait and see what it is. A dual frequency like you suggest could certainly be done. Can't say it is what I expect but maybe they will surprise me.
Steve Herschbach
The Makro Racer has proven to be a sleeper of sorts with more and more people appreciating its ability to pull non-ferrous targets out of piles of ferrous stuff with a minimum of settings and at an affordable price. Only four months left in the year so no matter what it will not be much longer. And I am sure it will have been worth the wait.
Reno Chris
I'm looking forward to seeing it and maybe having a chance to give it a spin before the end of the year - or at least until I get snowed out by the weather.
