  1. I own mine since tuesday afternoon and today I already created some programs to try in the next week. Sometimes I forget the right button for the operation I need but nothing impossible to solve. By the way I tested one some time ago and managed in 4 hours to understand its power and fall...in the trap of 11" available only 🤣
  2. I admit, sometimes I tried to swing with the left arm too, to take some rest🤣.
  3. Yes, of course....I was in need of some outing 😁and to celebrate my state of mind, I also changed my profile's picture with a really pissed puppet...
  4. As I supposed Simon, Your area is a P.I. kingdom, a lot less influenced by beach hunting niche. Steep price can also add value to this theory...I mean, over 2000 AUD for a not well proved machine can be scary. Tuesday...Hopefully...
  5. What's better than an old piece, covered in dust, scratched and full of history behind...Cause even a wedding band is a piece of history just more modern...As an example I fuc#!d up mine looking for gold😎
  6. At the end of the story, I miserably falled in the trap. I need a 9" coil as soon as I can, but I pushed on my friend and dealer to send me the first available 11" to not wait more. Now, excluding my personal preference for a smaller coil and my impatient blood, this sounds like a real trap evidently put in place by Xp... What's the point of seeing a few 9" available in NZ, UK, US and France but not in middle Europe? I have been in the business long enough to understand certain maneuvers aimed at multiple purchasing and this is clearly an example. I'm not a wetsand hunter and for the use I'm next to do of the Deus2, a big coil can only make things worst. Summing up: WS6 not needed, 11"coil not needed, shaft not useful for my purpose and the 9" further purchase extimated around 440$ not mentioning bonephones too. I bet that the optional 9"coils are already on the shelves of several dealers but until they will open the sale, a lot of 11" will have already invaded the planet. Pissed as usual SGD
  7. That's exactly the "wall" where I hit my head in saltwater now. Once I tried to go further, the noise to signal ratio increased way too much unless detuning sens.....Useless. I'm just curious to check in mono the maximum "crash point" tailored in frequency, sensitivity, reactivity and... whatever it takes to pull out what remains downthere with subtle whispers.
  8. Open that pattern Simon... If You really want to hit some shines, use target trace and dedicated tones to hear the good even without the screen help. At least keep open the FE lines from 10 to 15 and CO flat open just cause You search for silver too. I'm in Relic mode without any filter... 12 is usually the magic first number, followed by a CO of 01 to 30.
  9. I'm still trying to find more about it. That's a universal shaft maded by an eastern European factory with multiple attachments for almost any detector. Really scarce pieces in stock however. If I intercept a U.S. dealer I'll tell You soon.
  10. Not so easy to have, but this will be my setup soon.
  11. Steve posted some time ago a specific compatibility chart.. They simply don't want to mix things this time for obvious market reasons. How can You sell more coils if not creating a specific one for the purpose? I'm pissed as hell cause I'm forced to pick up an 11" when I need a 9" and they keep to send the 11" only to dealers. What can I do if not to take what's available and buy another coil alone after? I prepaid the machine and I still don't have it. And this will cost me some big bucks more😤
  12. I think So... Also, there's that "little" floating problem on the remote which flies away from the shaft clip...I hope someone can think about some sort of lever to avoid this thing. Can You imagine what can happen if suddenly the headphones on the head and the antenna's cable disconnect at the same time?
  13. I'll try to calm down and learn to act the same way for the future😂
  14. Thank you Lord for this place and all the great human beings who make it wonderful 😎
  15. Thanks Simon... Well...A bit too much if Your consider shipping costs too😂😂😂... Also, we can't forget the "big fish eats small fish" theory ...This caused me to not own an AQ Limited... Exclusive dealers for a specific area, can only sell there and not abroad... I'm onboard on the second chain's ring, being tester and friend of a sub-dealer. It has always shocked me how little margin is left to those who sell instruments ... Ridiculous, I swear.
  16. I don't want to speculate on something I don't know, but the situation seems to promote a double purchase and induce to opt for two coils. Now the only available and most expensive option is the full version and no trace of the RC. Being a diver I don't need the Ws6 and the 11" coil for sure. We'll see if I don't change my mind on the road. A prepaid detector with small loan payment which tends to be late at work is a big No-No for me😑
  17. I have received some bad news in the last few hours and I don't know how many around Europe know the current availability of the D2 with 9 "coil. There seems to be nothing in this second delivery batch either, except 11 "coils. This could mean an additional one to two months of waiting for anyone who wants the smaller version. Bad, really bad😣
  18. I think You falled in love with the dive shaft beauty, but let me tell You something... Even if you can shorten the rod by a lot, consider that the coil can be affected by the proximity of ring nuts or clamping screws... Generally, when I build a new rod with my own hands, I stretch out and I try the right length to have the coil and the digging hand on the same line. There's not a specific lenght for this purpose, but the one right for your body measures. You should also take into account that if you are snorkeling, on average you need a length that is somewhere between the wetsand full rod and the shorter scuba rod... Underhere, You can see the total length of my last shaft from the armrest to the coil's bolt hole in a scuba configutation. It measures only 66 centimeters...
  19. So I'll try to use it like the general sensitivity... With the usual common sense to don't exceed over the first noise appearance. I suppose at level 6 can be already high for me due to the salt concentration in my area...
