I'm not scared to say what you were thinking! LOL...

She's easy on the eyes too. Just saying.......

When I was a Whites dealer I felt they had 2 solid performers. I pushed the M6 and MXT/MXTpro. No need to carry every machine they had. 15 to 20 years later they are still the best they have in my opinion. Kind of sad actually.....

I for one feel that selling a detector through big box stores cheapens the effect of a nice machine. Just a stigma in my mind........Lol..... BTW - White's last chance was the MXsport. We were all waiting for the lightweight, multi frequency waterproof machine. Big let down at least for me. I went through three of them with Whites then telling me I didn't know how to use it..... I'm not a Whites dealer anymore..

Nokta Simplex Going To Be Released....?
khouse replied to RobNC's topic in Nokta / Makro Metal Detectors
I sold my ATpro in March hoping the Simplex would be released by now. I really just need something that beeps and is waterproof. It looks like this machine will do tons more that the ATpro at a throw around price point. I hope it comes out soon. I already missed one water hunt for a lost ring... -
About $220 melt price if I was to melt it.... About 8 years ago I sold a lot of silver rings and broken gold jewelry. Now I wish I had it back to help fill a future display. So from then on I don't sell anything. Well I spend a lot of the clad though... There's an inscription inside the ring and I'm still looking for the owner.

I was out there for a while but like you said I was taking a chance on the headphones. So I came up to the shallow areas.

I personally don't think I need a magnet. Not all recoveries were shallow. Not all recoveries were added to the video. I can tell you the 800 is deep.

It seems from the photo that he's running multi freq....... If so that's impressive on those smallest pieces!

True. But once you dig a handful of nails you would use those to adjust your discrimination to you particular site. I do indeed dig a lot of nails even setting it at 28. But I don't dig as many as 32 depending on the site. Basically all you're doing is discriminating out the nails on your site.

This video I made might help if you take the etrac back out to your nail bed? I use this as my last resort - last pass to squeak out a tiny bit more targets. But in your case this set up just might hit the ring?

I think the game changer here is the price. When I first saw it and read the specs and saw a video or two I figured the price was going to be at least $1500. This machine is in the same ball park as the Atmax and MXsport. I was ready to sell my Atpro to get a Max. But that just changed. If the EQ gives me solid ID's at depth then the etrac will be gone too. Were we not wanting the new Atmax and MXsport to have selectable frequencies? I was and it didn't happen. Now we have a company that did it for a reasonable price.... It's got to be a winner!

Just above nickels in the pull-tab range. The stock coil covers the ground well. -
Garrett AT Max Videos By Hoover Boys
khouse replied to Steve Herschbach's topic in Garrett Metal Detectors
I try and show all that in every video I make. I'm not taking away from anyone making videos. It takes a lot of time, money and effort. Sometimes I come home with 8 hours of video and I then have to watch the whole thing to put the best clips into a 10 minute video. -

I envy the sites this crew are able to secure. All seem like pretty darn good hunters as well. But I couldn't get any feel for the machine with so little live digs. I like more machine and less coins on plugs. Probably just me? Nice videos nonetheless. -
Great news!! This is Whites best kept secret. It's a great machine, Now 100$ less! Sweet.

Great Video Of Park Recovery Techniques
khouse replied to Steve Herschbach's topic in Metal Detecting For Coins & Relics
I got that Coin Popper at O'Reilly Auto Parts. It's the Titan brand gasket scraper with a square shank. I then ground a radius on the edge then sharpened it. $7.00 But there are other brands of scrapers that will work. Ebay has the exact Titan gasket scrapers too.
