Fisher Multi Frequency Release In 2022

Recommended Posts

Please don't tell anyone (we're trying to keep it under wraps) but that spiffy new coil is available on Amazon:

https://www.amazon.com/Fisher-inch-Coil-Triangulated-Bi-Axial/dp/B09SNVRXHC

Apparently only at Amazon, as far as I can tell. Limit 2 per person.

If anyone can purchase, on the open market, the new Fisher MF detector in 2022 I will send them one of my paychecks. Offer good for the first person who can show proof-of-purchase. I'm not sure why we keep aiming for the foot and pulling the trigger but it sure makes for sore feet and a red face.

Bugger, only for the F75 and not the T2, that's a start at least.  Thanks for pointing out the coil now actually exists.  They're sure trying to hide it, it's not even on the Fisher website although I'd long believed they've lost the password to be able to update that then they surprised me updating it with the Gold Bug 2.1 photos ?

How does that coil handle iron infestation compared to a concentric?

Was someone on this forum a while back that was showing off a custom OO coil on some machines. That Bi-axial reminds  me a little like that.

The Amazon page says

"FINDS MORE TREASURE: Reaches deep targets at never-before-seen depths. The 12COILDD can detect coin-sized targets up to 14 inches deep."

I guess it could mean never before seen depths in a Fisher Coil and "coin sized targets" could mean silver dollars.

Interesting, when you click "Visit the Fisher store", it only shows speaker systems and nothing detecting related.

If you click on where it says visit the Fisher Store, it takes you to audio equipment and a Fisher emblem I’ve never seen. Wild.

Would love to see a comparison of this coil with the Detech Arrow 18x4 on the F75. Have been considering the Arrow coil just to cover ground looking for new drops in the blanket area of the beach.

That is weird as it takes you to Fisher Electronics Amazon store with all products of course out of stock, an American Audio company that was defunct in 2000, isn't that ironic.
