  1. There is 7 different settings i was told and explained by one of the engineer but my mind was somewhere else as i won't buy it anyway i never used propointer in 25 years maybe one day..... RR

Yes 0 it help and make the detector work differently after you can always try to run on other setting to see if you missed any items.....also you can try 0 disci and use only the over 37 VID but you ears will suffer did try on a iron infested spot and it was terrible but i picked few bits but a 9mm bullet(complete) could be detected .....each machine has its limits.... RR

On ferrous infested area try to Ground balance on 20 or even 0.......manually try searching in all metal with the sensitivity as high as possible...it also work on wet sand Ferrous will produce double beep and non ferrous a deep loud single beep...excellent in iron infested area even better with a 5" or the 5x10(which is i think even more sensitive) Let me know how you get on with it RR

  5. Talking about crayfish a friend of mine in London (but she is from DC) use to cook tons of crayfish with spices corn and smoked saussages "Cajun Style" every events was packed !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!bottomless on top of that :)so you could eat tons!!! RR

  9. Zeeman for Africa Depar detector is looking after the continent for a lot of small prospector equipment i havee been told i saw a dry washer for $700 on their site RR

Dont live next to the beach ,but i am gonna get one i can get used unit for around £300 or 350 euros on the continent......will leave on loan to my mate to run extensive test....we are trying to find out what is the best machine for a particular type or research on the beach no for the gold sake of it but for the fun................gold finds will be extra and will of course keep you updated RR

Hello from London Town i got a question did any of you has run the 705 on prospecting mode on the wet sand...................friend of mine is using it on sites whom have been detected with dozens of machines and this is this only machine who will find tiny non ferrous artefact after them all.............i cant use it on the Thames but i just love the audio on Prospecting mode and would love to get one for the beach. Steve when i asked Alain Loubet he mentioned the purpose of the coils were for nuggets and small coins and artefact,but my question was related to the beach to be precise .But as you said it may be of utility for coins hunter.I never used higher than 25khz on medium size targets i can't ait to try the 50khz on the Thames God knows what is waiting for me!!! RR

  19. I have just changed the handle on mine we imported them from Arizona years ago and it wasn't cheap but it cut through hard black compact gravel like a knife in butter .............i am breaking spade too easily Hodan all the way!!!!Got 1 brand new spare RR
