  1. .... Program Park 1, Field 1, the programs are a bit related to the Beach Program ..... this means that they are better resistant to saline soils, as well as to terrains where they are strongly enriched with fertilizers - also salts .... - where they have deeper detection properties as well as more accurate and stronger * ID than Type2 programs. Of course, the salt elimination algorithm itself also brings reduced sensitivity to very low conductive targets - such as aluminum foil, or very small parts of aluminum ... while low conductive targets such as small silver forged coins are already sensitive enough and have a good range. This could also explain the lower ID for some small pieces of aluminum ... While the low water coin already has a numeric ID comparable to Type 2 Programs ... As for the separate 1F frequency 5khz ... at Equinox ... 5khz does not mean that the detector is completely less sensitive to small things .... soon one is that this frequency is more suitable for searching for large high-conductivity targets ... from silver coins - through ... copper, bronze buckle clasps, and after iron militaria ... to which this frequency naturally has a better sensitivity, and better releases iron .... for such objects has 5khz smaller signal attenuation in the ground .. Anyone who has ever worked with powerful detectors at 6.6khz .. he knows very well these detectors can be sensitive enough to dig up a few BB projectiles on one detection .. It happened to me that on a 2m section of a slightly snow-covered forest walkway with such a detector on an 11 "coil ... I dug 3 pieces of these BB shots one after the other .... The use of 1F frequencies of 5 and 10 khz alone can bring interesting results where you cannot work on multifrequency due to field conditions ... it is a very strongly mineralized environment ..for which the multifrequency is already very sharp and therefore unstable ... Using high iron bias / bootle cap reject function / I recommend in two cases: 1.removing the positive signal of a colored object from the iron-plated object ... 2 .. elimination of short positive signals from very small non-ferrous objects - works very well in combination with very high recovery speed ... in combination with the Beach2 program ..- which also reduces depth and sensitivity to very small objects ... here I would recommend using an 11 "standard coil or a large 12x15" coil .. small 6 "coil can be flat into small pieces of aluminum still sensitive enough..at also on the Beach 2 program ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This detector works at 6.622khz..but the range in Airtest at 0.1 grams of gold is 11cm .. .. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Comparison of Equinox coils to small pieces of lead... in Program Park2"...
  2. In my opinion, the trimmer adjusts the so-called Zero position of Discrimination ... which is also related to the shift of the upper and lower limits of the numerical ID of discrimination ... In some detectors, this function is also called Hot rock correction. What little people know .. with these corrections you can adjust the sensitivity of the detector to small objects or otherwise increase the sensitivity and range of the detector to high conductors .. Therefore, for example, some detectors with the Deep Silver program have a significantly adjusted Hot rock correction. Significantly to the + value ...
  3. ...I tried a 14 Volt NI-MH battery mode on the test field ... with a 13 "Ultimate coil ... I would say that in the discrimination mode the detection depth with ID did not increase - but you get a louder, sharper signal ... You get much better results in Allmetal where the detection signal is stronger as well as deeper ... Testing was temporary and fast ... but I decided to finally adjust the detector to 15Vold mod .. but with some other adjustments ...👍
  4. I think this topic needs to be lightened a bit .... the price of the detector is one thing ...- which should express the possibilities of the detector ... I would be interested ... if Mr. LEJAG ..., ... Geotech-Carl Moreland, and other members of the Manta-ImpulseAQ project ... or the Tester who is currently testing IMpulse AQ could write something about the possibilities of the Impulse AQ detector. lately, all the comments revolve around the beginning of production or prices .... let's talk more about what this detector can bring to the world of detection .. In any such project, positive thinking is important both on the part of the designers .... as well as on the part of potential people interested in this PI detector. Fisher Impulse AQ metal detector
  5. Steve ... DFX..you can still surprise you ... But there's something about those Whites detectors ..., it can't be described exactly ... Anyway, I will be curious about your views in your heavily mineralized conditions - Big foot should work well there. In my opinion, DFX uses similarly to Spectra - a performance-optimized multifrequency that will work in a wide range of different terrain types ... This means that it does not have to be deeply demonstrated on low-terrain terrain - but it will provide reliable results in any mineralization of the terrain ...
  6. Another point for Garrett was doing this coil survey for Garret * APEX.... The coils that I would take as a supplement to Apex would be: 1. coil ..Apex 4.5 "CC sniper, .. 2. coil.. Apex 5x8 "DD .. 3 .. And according to its own size ... it would be a coil Apex 10x12" DD for maximum depth ..
  7. It is important to say that when Vanquish with batteries is connected to the computer, it turns itself on ... connects to the computer ... and is identified in the computer as Vanquish ... it is practically ready to upgrade .... Now it depends on Minelab or we will offer us some Updater ..
  8. My Vanquish 340 in the off state .... for turning on the connection to xiaomi 10,000 mA..powerbank if the batteries are stored in the detector ...... But ... if the detector is without batteries, it will not turn itself on after connecting the power bank ... the same situation is when connected to the computer ... the detector must have batteries to turn on and connect to the computer...
  9. I have no doubt that Fisher Gold Bug 2 still keeps up with the most sensitive detectors to the smallest gold ... it is still very good in that and it had a 6 "concentric coil to complete it .. Some time ago I had one of the good pieces ... where the high setting of the treshold managed to significantly increase the sensitivity and reach of very small gold discrimination mode ...- it was visibly especially on a small 6 "CC coil ... I heard that a test DD coil was also made for this detector .. but I don't know any details about it ...
  10. The V8 coil has a real size of 5.5 "x 8" .... Some time ago I decided to buy another small 6 "equinox coil from the" 2-hand" ,, disassemble it and then adjust its winding to a size of 4.5 x 7.5" .... that would be at least in my opinion one of the simpler ... maybe a colleague can do it ... because I already have experience with multifrequency coils ....but we'll see... you just need to move on in this ....
  11. Today I have already exhausted the limit of likes ..... ,,, so thank you for all this information ..., I agree with many opinions here ... undoubtedly a series of vanquish detectors is a really good choice for this money ... I have a Vanquish 340 with V10 / and V8 coils and it's a really good set ... I read one opinion on a Vanquish 440 with a V10 spool which calls ... that it is as deep as a Vanquish 540 with the same V10 coil..... Vanquish 340 with V10 coils should have a range of about 7-12% less, but on the other hand Vanquish 340 can run almost always at maximum sensitivity, so this difference can be even less in practice. One more thing ... Coil V12 should bring you 5-12% more range than coil V10 ...
  12. Mr.. Steve...Doesn't that mean Fisher will be coming with a new /gold...?/Vlf detector soon?
  13. No one has surpassed this yet ... cable Sun-ray Probe DX-1 on Whites Spectra V3 ... ,, For a while, I thought ... it would do XP on my wireless MI6 pinpoiter.-but it didn't happen .. But I believe soon with that some Manufacturer will come ....
  14. ..These translations are therefore so good .... because I use my Gaming Laptop for that ....... But now seriously .. I forgot to give a dot for 1 ..., and during this Editing I did not notice that I had already translated English into my Slovak language ... I was in a hurry to work .. It's my fault ... I have to spend enough time correcting the writing of sentences ... and translating them into English ... and correcting the text ... to express exactly what I want ... I hope ... that you will forgive me for inconsistencies from time to time .. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now to the topic ... CTX ... works with a fixed iron bias somewhere at the value of 9, which helps him a lot to correctly identify the iron ...
  15. Berte nastavenie Iron Bias F2 ako 2. vylepšenú generáciu - toto nastavenie ... Iron Bias FE je 1. generácia ... ......Take the Iron Bias F2 setting as the 2nd improved generation - this setting ... Iron Bias FE is 1 generation ...
  16. The compression of TX in mineralization cannot be skipped by physics .... it is simply a certain range coefficient. A slightly larger coil can help here .... but especially with gold prospecting it is a double-sided blade ... On the one hand you can increase the range ... but at the same time reduce the sensitivity to the smallest objects ... You simply have to find a compromise..between range and sensitivity .. Making a multifrequency gold detector that a small coil works on will not be an easy task ... Here I am not surprised by Whites .. that during the development of 4x6 "GMX coil he devoted enough time to this problem ...... because strong TX power ... which also applies to multifrequency at high frequencies places high demands on the detector coil ...
  17. Greetings Mr. Carl .... your posts are as accurate and very informative as always .... I always had some idea that the possibilities of Spectra V3 could be much larger ... and that this machine works maybe 70% of its possibilities .. .. I always wanted that ..... the new Spectra V4 also had a 15khz frequency, and the user could choose 2-3 frequencies from 4 frequencies 2.5khz -7.5khz-15khz-22.5khz ... depending on the terrain and what type detection is exactly preferred ... also in terms of better separation on multifrequency and EMI resistance .. The Best data function could also be more adjustable .... No-Motion mode with ID would be an excellent feature on this detector ...
  18. If Garrett didn't count on "possible software update" at Apex, he wouldn't put a mini USB connector there ... but a magnetically charging connector ... It's similar to Vanquish ... where I don't immediately mention this possibility either ... but ... Minelab mentioned the possibility to upgrade Vanquih via mini Usb ...
  19. I think Garrett goes for it sensibly .... and put on a Apex coil which has a very good coefficient of Depth / Separation ... and EMI resistance .. Reduced weight and improved detector balance is another plus ... They definitely did enough enough testing to know what they're going into. Since I own a sufficient amount of 6x10 "Mars Sniper coils on various detectors .. and among other things in the multifrequency Spectra V3 ... I can say that the coil on many coin size targets reaches about 85-90% of the range compared to the 12X10" coil in slightly mineralized terrain .. on very small targets it is also 100% reach .. Add to that the improved separation of the 6x10 "coil and you get the same detection efficiency as with the standard 11" coil ... In heavily mineralized terrain, 6X10 "coils can already lose more depth than 11" coils.
  20. ....In my opinion, Garrett would not add 6 search programs to Apex with the same * Recovery Speed ..... ,, I believe more that the programs are more optimized for a specific type of search .. I take a 6x 11 "coil more than a standard search coil..., .. with a greatly increased degree of separation .... but of course for a very demanding separation we will need a shorter coil of a slightly smaller size ... 8-9 "coil I consider ideal as a standard coil for a powerful multifrequency detector ... in terms of depth, sensitivity and separation.... The fact that Garrett gave the 6x11 "coil as a standard raises a few questions ... because to reach a depth as the competition other detectors whit larger standart coils, the Apex detector itself must be powerful enough ...
  21. ... Yes .... in some cases ,, sometimes multifrequency means too much TX power in one place .... and also too much energy for RX Signal processing, but it is also related to that of some frequencies of multifrequency are more sensitive definitely terrain conditions ..... ,, .. especially it is visible on small coils ... And... then the individual frequencies come into play .... Steve .... In any case, I will be very curious about your observations ,,, and I am glad that you also deal with such issues in detection ...Thank you for your reply...👍 . .
  22. Steve ... is this the so-called natural sensitivity of a certain frequency which works better for a given conductivity of an object?...
  23. HYBRID AUDIO SYSTEM The Apex target audio provides the simplicity of binary audio (found on existing ACE detectors) with the additional benefits of subtle proportional audio (found on Garrett detectors like AT Max) for faint targets. ..question....APEX ... isn't it real... Allmetal ,, ....or-Mix-mode audio?.... if I understand correctly....?
