  1. For equinox you can still use 1F -20khz and 1f 40 khz ... to improve the separation in certain cases.. Apex ..this has a 6x 11 "coil and it helps separation ... we'll see in practice.
  2. Whites MXT All detection combat versus Minelab Equinox 800 on gold programs ... on the Top Digin test field. Who will win? Will it be a 20-year-old Single-Frequency Sophisticated Detector Whites MXT ... or a Modern Multifrequency Detector Equinox 800? .. The terrain of the test is mineralized and the target detectors are masked with iron .. so the task for these detectors will not be easy ... This test is from my colleagues from Top Digin ... both colleagues Jack and Mike have already had something to do with various detectors, among others, in recent years with Equinox, both of whom I consider to be an excellent detector. You can see for yourself which detector can play a better result ....
  3. 7 "ultimate gives a much better signal to 0.05gram gold ... than 5.3" CC on tracking .. sensitivity and depth on the field test is the ultimate practically identical to the 6x8 "SEF coil. but when I do a Trick on a 5.3 "Concentric Coil..and I manually remove it in a locktrac at +2, the numbers above the tracking value are the sensitive ones and it also has a depth .. if with MXT it was possible to manually add +1 + 2, + 3 / or minus...additional numbers to the tracking, it would be great=Super....... .. because such a setting does not yet negatively affect the correct ID ... and adds a better signal as well as a deep ID......
  4. 7 "Ultimate coil... I tried it on MXT yesterday .... and it detected my hand ... The 7 "Ultimate coil itself has a diameter of 19 cm with a cover ... and a total weight of 445 grams... With black sand 7Bar Fe3O4 = 4% magnetite ... test I can set Gain to 9.5 for this coil without overload ... it's the same as for SEF 6X8 "- it also works on MXT to a gain of 9.5 .. The range of the 7 "Ultimate and Sef 6X8" coils is very similar in terms of sensitivity, depth and ID on the MXT .. but in my opinion the 7 "ultimate will be better separated from the point of view of its circular design also because its detection window is narrower than the SEF coil... Black sand box= 4% magnetite..
  5. Mr. Steve ... are you proposing ...... that Fisher make a replacement long-shaft lower shaft ... as an accessory ?.. It's clear to us that the U-shaped coil holder is specifically..and only the manufacturer can solve this thing...
  6. Now that i tested the coil of 7"detech ultimate i tried to pass my hands in front of the coil ... yes it detects minerals in my hand .. it's a very sensitive coil .... and I have incredibly good parameters V rated on Spectra V3 ... I have multi 3F .. and 1F 22.5khz is the best Gain 15 ...
  7. One of the good alternatives for maintaining a 2-piece construction for a Fisher IMPULSE AQ for people who have a higher height ... is to use a longer bottom rod. Thus, it maintains the planned strength and durability of this construction of the Impulse AQ detector. ...modified TEK.G2 from a 2-piece construction with long bottom carbon rods...
  8. Thank you Jonh ... the coil 10x14 excelerator will be in my wish list ..... ,, mainly because my colleague has a very good experience with a similar type of Mars Tiger .. Today I tested the coils 4X6 "shooter, 18" detech excelerator II and again the coil Sef 6X8 ".... as a comparison coil .. Coil 18 "Detech excelerator ... will detect coins ... but not enough gold ...
  9. Thank you John ... I believe ... that the 5.3 "coil of concentric coil is the most sensitive to the smallest gold ... ,, I have a similar observation in the 4.5" CC Sniper from Garrett ,,, I know you are one of those .... ..... who have the most experience with different coil..... for Whites MXT ... And I really appreciate your opinions ....👍.... The main task of my comparative Test is to find the coil that gives the best signal and also the numerical ID at 0.1 gram .... All the coils that I could try so far did not give any numeric ID to this tested target, even though the sound signal gives very good ... Coils I tested on Whites MXT ALL Pro are: Coil 6X8 "SEF, .. 2x coils 12X10" SEF, ... 2x coils 10 "DD Whites, coil 5.3" Concentric Whites Eclipse, coil 6x10 " Whites Eclipse, ... coil 6X10" Mars Sniper ,, ... coil 13 "Detech Ultimate ... and coil 13.5" Taktyk Rainbow ... Such a coil must also pass my 4x4 field test correctly for various deeply tested objects ... 50 eurocent in 37cm whit ID... I want to find the optimal coil to make it ... what the Whites MXT itself can do For the detector can be seen in this test ... which, although not in English ... in the test shows the quality of the MXT ..
  10. Since I have had an MXT ALL Pro detector for a few days now ... I tested a pretty nice pile of coils on my test field ..... Does anyone have experience with the 7 "Detech Ultimate coil? .. I'm looking for a coil ........with the best ratio of sensitivity - and a range of 0.1 grams of gold ... Any relevant answers will be welcome ..👍 6x8" SEF Coil in test...give a nice signal but no ID... 5.3" CC Whites Eclipse coil... in Test...very weak signal without ID... 6x10" DD Whites Eclipse coil ..in Test...give a nice signal but no ID... 0.05 gram gold in 10cm....
  11. I tried the reaction of the magnet to 1 Euro and 2 Euro coins .. The 1 Euro coin is slightly magnetic, but the 2 Euro coin is much more attracted to the magnet.
  12. I believe that out of 100 detectors in the hands of users in the USA, a strong discussion will develop very quickly and, first of all, experience with the use of Impulse AQ in the detection itself ... I wish these users success ... And I am very pleased to receive direct information on the Impulse AQ team directly from Mr. Steve Herschbach as well as other members of the Detector Prospector Forum ... For detectors who don't live in the USA..and waiting for this detector to come to Europe and further to the world .., I just want to say ... First of all .. that Fisher is not sleeping and continues to develop Impulse .. that Impulse is also solving for Terra detection ..., and also Gold prospecting detection ... so we have something to look forward to ... Very it pleased me ..👍 I believe that there will be a really strong communication about Impulse, both on the part of Team Fisher and also from Impulse users. As Mr. Steve noted ... maybe it's a good idea to give a little more openness in Fisher's Information.. regarding the delivery of the first 100 Impulse in the US ... It will help any other interested parties in the world to properly accept this fact..and prepare in time and money for the possible 2 wave of distribution of Impulse detectors ..., or even the Improved Impulse model ..
  13. ....Two days ago, a colleague sent me a video from the test of a VLf detector which passed the tested targets..one of one of the targets was a very thin gold chain folded into a ball at a depth of 6cm ... The Golden Mask detector hit it with a nice signal ... as well as other deep targets ... wrote me ... The interesting thing about this test was ... that this Analog detector had a very high level of discrimination at the level of up to 5.5 ... which would in any case prevent detection .... if the chain was only on the ground ...because you are already discriminating against 3 .0 ... you are already eliminating such low-conductivity objects... ... we discussed this topic for a while ..because they are analog detectors - so you don't see the ID of the target you are detecting here...... I experienced a similar situation with the detectors Tesoro mojave and golden Mask..where the low-conducting targets in the depths were detectable and severely increased discrimination, which would in any case make it impossible to detect four targets stored in the shallow depths .. With this simple example, we come to the essence of the problem with the ID of classic VLF detectors, that is, the increase of the ID of objects to be stored at a greater depth ... - to the extent that at the limit of detection can be this ID up to the iron. As for Garrett's Ace, it is known that even on deep targets with ID 80 and more they give a nice strong bell tone signal ... which in some cases really helps in the effective detection of deep signals. So far, it is difficult to say how Apex will have the calculation of goals with ID solved, but I feel that the multifrequency here will be very helpful in the correct identification of the goal ... Equinox - I consider exactly multi-IQ ID in depth to be one of the best features in this detector ... - because it eliminates the shortcomings of the classic VLF detector in the field of shifting the display of ID in depth. of course..no it will suit everyone......
  14. My proven setting of the alter for terrain heavily polluted with iron .., use the program fast 14khz-18.4 khz ... using Mix mode with a sufficiently fast Sat ,, and also set low volume iron ... I would be careful to use a VCO for strong separation ... because then you may have too much signal in from the iron ,,, but it can be adjusted with reduced iron volume .., and discrimination and the VCO will then work more in the non-ferrous field. . You don't have to worry too much about setting the mask ... because Alter adjusts the Mask according to the set Filter speed ... At a filter speed of 6 j you set the maximum mask to the level of 2 max ... of course you can reduce this masking as needed.
  15. Some coils designed for DFX .. when used on the spectra V3 of the brain, certain phase-shifting of the coil is manifested at a high frequency by the ID on the High Conductive Coin already transitioning to iron ... with one exception ,,, and these are the high conductive coins detected on edges - these are detected in areas of non-ferrous objects ... It is a very problem especially at a 1Ffrequency of 22.5khz ..., as well as with the use of 3F multifrequency..........but it occurs at the multifrequency proving frequency of 7.5khz and 2.5 khz well enough to replace the detection deficiencies at 22.5khz .. I discovered a similar problem a few years ago with the Detech 6x8 "SEF MTX / DFX coil - which I used on the Spectra V3 ... Congratulations to Steve .. for the "new" DFX detector .... and I believe that the Bigfoot coil will perfectly complement this detector ...👍 I have now also gone in a similar direction ... and I bought a Whites MXT All Pro ... which will complement my Spectra V3 and V3i in detection..where there are also advantages it ...because of that I can use all the coils from Spectra ..
  16. G2-13 "Ultimate coil weighs 480 grams without cover and 530 grams with coil cover ... it is a light spool for its size ... ,, for Spectra V3, this coil is a bit heavier because it has a heavier coil winding ... or will it improve the depth performance of the detector? I think so ... because I have these coils for Spectra V3 and Tek. G2 .. on the other hand, such a large coil can already disrupt the separation of the detector ... it all depends on the detector how the power reserves have in the area of separation .. Recently you can see the trend of reducing the size of the coil to optimize the separation and increase the sensitivity to various objects..but while maintaining a sufficient depth ... as far as I know at Simpex there are two 11 "coils - old and new type ... so the ranges may differ for different users also because ... ☠-cipher..... Ps .. coils for Spectra V3 ...and MXT..... the last days we have been devoting enough time with colleagues from Top Digin to solve the maximization of separation, sensitivity and reach on various targets ... by selecting suitable settings as well as the best coil that can fulfill this task .. . Wait for update ...
  17. Alter 71 is already very sensitive at a frequency of 14khz ... and has an excellent range of 0.1gram of gold - it's 15-16 cm in artest on a standard 11 "coil .. Reach at 0.02 grams of gold is 6cm ... In practice, it looks like he can detect a golden eye weighing 0.05 grams at a depth of 10 cm in the ground on my test field ... already at a frequency From 14khz -to 18.4 khz ... at a filter speed of 1-3 and a sensitivity of 80-88 ... when setting the mask to a value of 2-3 ... filter speed 4 is still the limit where you can get the maximum range for such small targets but you have to use sensitivity 84-88 .. and masking to 2 .. The speed of the filter 4 will already work well even in a very high mineralization .., here I would recommend reducing the frequency to the value 16.4khz .. in case you at the frequency 18.4 Khz you are already starting to gently resonate the mineralization from the ground. Typically, a feature of heavily mineralized soil is, when the soil is debugged, you will pump with a coil only 2-3 times - instead of the usual 5 pump with a coil for moderately mineralized terrain. For ... Alter 71 I very much use Mix mode ... which perfectly complements its detection capabilities ...
  18. Garrett Apex can definitely have the advantage ,, ..... since it is the latest Multifrequency Detector ... Garrett's .. engineers had enough time to compare it with the best detectors on the market ... Thanks to the fact that they also inserted into the unit the possibility of working on 4 individual frequencies ... it can be seen that they leave nothing to chance ... So far, it is very difficult to say anything specific about the multifrequency itself in Apex i .. -because there is little ...
  19. Master Reset will work, even on a classic V3 it is not a problem to do it this way ...
  20. As for Simplex, the differences in its work in dry and wet terrain should also be taken into account - where the results may be different .... some tests confirm this ... smaller coils to Simplex would be a good thing ..👍.
  21. If you have Alter 71 v.2 - then you can use the iron volume setting .. as well as VCO- for non-ferrous objects .. it helps detection very much .. Personally I prefer Audio type Coins ... before Audio relict ...
  22. The wireless module has a standard for use in Europe ... in this respect it meets European standards ... American standards are a little different and maybe at least now it is not possible to use a wireless module in the USA ... For Rutus detectors, I am used to using the sennheiser RS 160 wireless headphones .... where I set the volume of the Detector between 70-90% of the maximum volume and then I further adjust the ...volume directly in the headphones.
  23. This more detector test is from colleagues from Top Digin ... they are people I trust, and I'm in touch with them .... As you can see from this test, the Alter 71 is the right floor in the category of high-performance detectors. Test results in Excel are here ... https://drive.google.com/file/d/1E_Im90VHp6tQlQiyfc_bp1FG88Gd-dxY/view?fbclid=IwAR3wNwwS52HbjBtEYmuKzs2ddR8mGKNCl-zYsQtMKWp9Knb1otNLoA8u6ww
  24. ...Locator.......If someone on the SpectraV3... did a Master Reset ...., which would mean returning the spectrum to the factory settings ...., there is definitely a risk that in the Master reset menu he could also check the calibration reset .... First of all .. I would verify the identification of the Spectra V3 on 3F multifrequency on some US coins where the exact ID is known, as a small test for ferrite .... and also a compact disc - which should give an ID of 0 to 1 ... In case the ID of these items will match the table ID from Whites .. I think you have your detector .. okay ... Alternatively, you can use the Ground Probe function in 3F multifrequency. and verify the detector parameters in the field from the point of view of the correct Phase. .. Even in this case, you can use ferrite to compare the value of the ferrite Phase on all 3 frequencies ... Master Reset.....
  25. Here, everything will depend on the performance of Apex .... clearly, the 100-digit ID provides a certain advantage ... how we will see next ...but in my opinion it will surpass the AT models, and perhaps the GTI....
