I use the Gray Ghost NDT . But the Soeverein are sold at Detecnicks and might be a backup if i need it . Never heard of the C.Scope version .

I cant help thinking its to Macro what the Nox 600 is to Minelab . Not quite the complete package . If i had the choice i would only go for the Multi .

They were on the dry tops , fresh loss.

Basically to me they are soccer fans that only fly the England flag when their football team is playing . They usually drink to excess and cause trouble . Pissheads is another one for them .

Not a bad hunt . But it should be better . There was someone on the beach during the day yesterday maybe more than one ? i saw him when i drove past working . High powered snipers riffle and second amendment came to mind LOL

Last night after i finished work i went to the beach for a 9pm start . The tide was in and i would work it out all night if it was worth it or if i could stay awake . I did the dry tops for a few hours then looked down the lower beach but it has built up in many places . But i did find a Silver chain and on the pendent it say 925 375 DIA , its all a bit knotted up . So i presume thats Silver , 9k Gold and Diamond . I had a good session on coinage but not as good as it should be , the weather was a bit chilly and cool yesterday so i didn't expect much . Near the end of the search i found 2 cufflinks , not Silver . I finished at around 2.30am as i was knackered and my bed was calling . I walked a few miles so that was enough exercise for me . In this search i found the Silver/Gold chain , a foreign coin and the chain , the cufflinks and £35.87p in coinage . Today i wont be out , i need sleep . Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Today i got to the beach at 5pm but because of the bloody football it was very busy with Lager louts and other people . I had to wait quite a while before searching . The beach was similar to yesterday but built up slightly more . I got there at high tide and that held me up too . I think it was near sunset before i got some serious detecting in and by 10.45pm i gave up because there were still too many people on the beach . I had £22.13p , a 1 Euro and another but small Silver ring . Thats my lot till Tuesday but no sure when on that day . Whilst the weather is warm and there are crowds on the beach i will use the ET , it doesn't get the interference the Nox gets .

Last night after work i went to the beach with my ET for low tide , i got there at 9.20pm . Low tide was around midnight so i had some time to search down to low tide . I also searched the tops , for a while i found very little . There were quite a few people on the beach still after dark but i found some coinage . low down on the beach i had a 12 46 and found another Silver ring , probably a toe ring ? After that i did the tops but coinage was rare again . But in the dark i shone on an area of rubbish and saw a £10 note so that doubled my finds at the time. After finished that beach i went onto another beach next and found little but then on the tops i found a watch , doesn't fit my wrist or Mum's so will see if it fits my Nieces . I left the beach at 11.45pm as i was to tired to carry on and it was very warm and muggy , I was betting my swollocks off . I could almost wish for a storm to cool things off . I will be back there later today at 5pm in 2 hours time . Tide will be high so i will work it out again and hope for yellow. My finds yesterday were £25.73p , the ring and the watch .

Can do with good headphones , most are bloody awful i have found.

When Gray Ghost version come if they aren't already ? I will buy them , good sound and higher toned . Provided they are given the same inards as the NDT's .

Bad news about the machine , thats the second i have heard of drowning . As for all Minelab headphones NO. They are all low toned and they seem to not have learned from the Koss . Gray Ghosts are the way to go and when i can i will buy a waterproof set for the Nox . But i will test them in the shop first before any readies go . I wont use my Nox under water , its just a very weatherproof machine to me . In fact thats all i was hoping for from a X.Terra replacement .

Stuff Socca or however you spell it , rather be on a field or beach swinging ET or Nox . And being the 51st state might be the best way to get the Merkel's and Barnier's/Juncker's off our backs. They are the prices we pay for ML stuff , very high compared to your prices . In fact everything is high priced here . Petrol / Diesel for example £1.31p per litre and they aren't Motorway prices which are several Pence higher . Rip Off Britain is rife ! By the way . Happy Independence Day . Ours is next year on 29 March . Good or bad , no more Eurotrash. Bet that will be a fudge up too. Sorry for Politics .

The biggest problem with what your saying is that the UK is not the US's 51st state . We have £ not $ and most prices for our stuff are near enough the same price but for the different currency sign . I have bought a few adaptors from Amazon / Ebay and already 1 has failed . Its a pity the socket on the Nox wasn't 1/4in instead of 1/8in . Also we dont have any Military discounts but do have VAT "Value Added Tax" which is an EU thing . Sad day when we joined that bunch of c... . And getting out will be a bit painful so prices may even go higher here after we leave .

If theres anything that might kill sales of the Nox 800 it might be the cost of spares and the 1/8 in socket and WM08 . It limits choice of headphones if you dont want to pay over £34 for an adaptor cable . I cant believe the price of the WM08 , you pay that much in $ , its around that price in £ here . As i have 2 Nox 800 i dont have to worry much about spares . I also have 3 pairs of XP backphones which i will check out for tones at some point . If they work well i will use them in the Summer when its hot , dont like sweaty ear holes . Macro is the same but as for prices for theirs i dont know. Whats worse with Macro is that for the Kruzer you have to get an adaptor to use any other headphones of any type. I bought the adaptor .

I cant remember when but around 2010/11 , or at least thats when i posted finds i think. My scores back then were quite high back then but now they are slipping back as a whole , good while it lasted . But i think this Summer might be good .

On Thursday/Friday 29-06-18 after finishing work at 9pm Thursday i went to the beach when the weather was very warm , i searched from 1am to 7am and found £37.25p , a Silver ring , a 50 Euro Cent , a US Cent and another small foreign coin , a 13000 mah Power bank , a nail file and a pen . When i got home i had to go to London Guy's Hospital with Mum on the 10.30 Bus then a Train so Mum could go to see her Surgeon at 2.30pm that will be operating on her right Lung which is possibly Cancerous but they cannot be sure of it in a few weeks time . She definitely has a lump in her Lung so being she has had Breast Cancer in the past we can assume it is Cancer. We got home from there at around 9pm and stuffed into take away Fish and Chips . Saturday i worked. Today Sunday 1st July was a really warm day here in the UK and the beaches i go to to detect were heaving big time . I went early at 4pm to see if i could hunt for rings low down and i would hunt the dry tops later when the crowds cleared a bit . Well i started at around 4pm and searched the lower beach in the surf as the tide went out being careful not to drop ET in the oggin , not long into the search i found a small Silver ring and had some coins turn up too . I occasionally searched some spots on the tops which were clear of crowds and found more . At about 7pm i was disturbed by a Romanian woman that her Husband had lost his Wedding ring , she said its the same as hers at 14k and hers read 12 16 on the ET . So for a while i searched for the ring where he said he lost it but didn't find it . So for a while i kept looking for other stuff and found more coinage and another small Silver ring . After a while another detectorist turned up and the man that lost the ring asked him if he could look for it , he was using an older XP machine so as i didn't want him to find it as it would have been embarrassing for my ET i got stuck in looking for it again . The couple were obviously thinking that the ring was lost and had started to leave the beach when i had a 12 15 on my ET , i dug the target and i saw it was the ring . But it wasn't where he said it was . I shouted i have found the ring and they came back to me . He said he was going to give me a reward and gave me £50 . I think that he was happy just to have the ring back , being their rings were the same except for size . After that i went hunting for more rings and had another bigger Silver ring and a junk ring , when the crowds cleared a bit more i did the dry and found more coinage . It is harder than in the past now most people use cashless means of payment but today was quite good though not as good as a few years ago when i could score a ton through the night . I could have stayed through the night but my knees are getting a bit knackered for that and by 11 pm i was knackered so called it a day . My total for this search was including the reward £94.34p , a US Cent , a 20 Euro Cent , 3 Silver rings , a junk ring and the returned Gold ring . Thats the first Gold ring i have found that was found with my present ET and my first 14k . The picture of the Gold ring is taken by my phone on my upturned rucksack. I would go to the beach on Monday but i have other things to do so my next search is next Friday night or Saturday .

Hi , does anyone know what the difference is between Park 1 and Park 2 modes ? I need a mode that i can use on dry beaches away from the salt wet. But i have to put it into frequency 10 khts to match the Terra . Its mainly for looking for coinage in shingle and sand beaches . I need depth and sensitivity . Thanks

On Youtube i saw from another forum link that a bloke has found another way to check for bad targets on his 600 . I assume its the same for the 800 . The Minelab Equinox 'Hack' - Target ID Trick. Starts at 1.49 minutes

Its a pity that the Gold mode here wasn't added to the Multi Kruzer. That would have saved having 2 machines and given us all an all rounder . It would have been like an Equinox without simultaneous Multi frequency . As soon as i get my adaptor for my Gray Ghosts i will find a nice beach to test my M K . There's a Rally at the end of August , along with my Nox i will take the Kruzer too .

I saw that about Max's machine on the Tube . Wonder what happened there ?

Yesterday i made my mind up and bought a Multi Kruzer and sold my Terra 705 . If nothing else at least i have 3 weatherproof machines . In a while i will take both my Nox and Kruzer to a sandy beach and compare them . Doesn't matter to me if either is better . Both are keepers . Now for the ET replacement ! Not the CTX .

Their normally busy but today it was a bit quieter in the afternoon.
