George Kinsey replied to George Kinsey's topic in Compass, D-Tex, Tesoro, Etc.
I have the Red Box Baron with 3 different modules. Truely from the mind of a genius George Payne. Hope your safe and well. -
Worked very well in bad ground, lite weigh housing, Auto ground trac, pinpoint, three tone options, visual target I.D. and depth reading down to 10". I may take this one with me to the After life.

Forum Friend To All Has Passed
George Kinsey replied to normmcq's topic in Detector Prospector Forum
Fred and I had many conversations over the years. He was very interested in PI detectors. I am very sad to hear this news. My condolences to his many friends and family. -
Back awhile ago I dumped one of my large non-ferrous finds containers. Most where found without the aid of a metered detector. I left the very small non-ferrous and square nails for who ever comes later. The ability to hear is paramount.

Search Scan Pi????
George Kinsey replied to Noah (FL)'s topic in Metal Detector Advice & Comparisons
My friends designed this detector along with the Baracuda. Easy to use salt beach detector. Similar to a Whites PI. Short lived because Whites held the patent on their design. Dug coins down to 10". -

It is still. Does a good job in iron infested colonial sites. Just to heavy to tote around. -

Bob and I have been friends for 40 years. He will do a good job on any repair work you send in.

Very easy interface. Good luck.

Of course I did. Bad weather, dry hot ground and work has kept me off the playing field. A brief test produced one flat button. Hope to go out for a few hours this weekend if it would just stop raining.

George Kinsey replied to snakejim's topic in White's Metal Detectors
I have used every Whites produced since the CM4. Looks like the cash cow finally ran out for the owners coupled with all the other problems in the world.
