Have always tried to be ambidextrous in everything I do.When I could drive a nail overhead with my left hand and not leave a hammer print I felt I had arrived. I hate the ML battery pack on my butt because it interferes with changing hands---so I went to the TDI. I know, I know,but I had rather be comfortable while finding no gold.LOL

Air tests are Very important when comparing 2 or more of the SAME detectors. Many years ago I was a silent partner(I signed all the bank notes LOL) in very busy firearms/detector/antiques business.We would have a couple dozen detectors on hand and I would air test them to pick MY detector. It was Common for 2 identical detectors to have 25/30% difference in air test depth---these were from one of Steve's favorite companies.

Steve please continue to post info such as this because the geological changes on the earth are indisputiable ---the rub with a lot of folks is that the pols try to take natural occurances and place a tax on them.The REASON I read your site is for real and scientific information.

I have to say that I agree with Adolph on "Toad" Todd. Toad was the name given to Fat Todd by the locals in Alaska during the first season. But "Diggers" HAS to be the most idiotic show ever put on the airways--only watched the first few minutes and Forbid the show ever being turned on in my house.
