  1. Congrats on the gold. Looks like you had some detecting fun.😄
  2. The V3(i) including chinese language had unlocked a giant market I think.
  3. White’s was the company which build the detector what made metal detecting a great hobby to me. The beginning detector was the XLT. Yes, I tried different models from other manufacturers but ever came back to White’s. Still own three of their detectors, a lot of coils and accessories…and sure will keep it. Makes me sad to see them go.
  4. Just found it back and thought it may help a new DFX owner, and may be some old school ones, too. (forgot where I downloaded it...) DFX-XLT-HANDBOOK-1.1.pdf
  5. While using the DFX I collected some DFX-programs from the net and added them to a sheet. DFX_Programs.xls
  6. Congrats on the new machine. When my DFX arrived there was a booklet beside the user manual called "going places with the DFX". that was a nice read and helped to create a really nice program. Going Places With The DFX.PDF
  7. Thank you very much for your speedy effort, EL NINO77.👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ And this is for the whole forum, too. Thank you so much for this 5-Star forum, Steve.
  8. Another question. - if it is an updated Spectra V3 (Screen says V3i) will the master reset work? The instruction says it is not for an original "V" machine.
  9. Thank you all very much for the information and your help. I really appreciate it. Hopefully I can get my hands on this one as it seems to be a pretty good deal. @Geotech - yes, it was a sad day when I heard that Bob passed.
  10. Hello. I know this is an older thread but may be someone knows the answer. I'm going to buy a used V3i but how can I check if the "calibration" was hit (accedently) by the former user? Will it show the standard start-up screens and work anyway? May be someone knows? Any help is appreciated.
  11. Hello. It is charged via mini USB. So take a power bank with you and you're good. WOW. That was very surprizing. Great shot, Garrett. Wishing all the best for the new "child".
  12. Great video and tons of information. Really enjoyed watching. Thank you for sharing and taking along. Take care and stay safe, too.
  13. Thank you all for your time and effort to help. Knowing that I'll keep my VX3 for sure as it became my grab and go machine. May be there is a V3i added in the future. (a man can never have enough detectors 😉 )
  14. ...or is this only because empty stock? Seems since a week the VX3 isn't listed anymore on the White's sites (US & UK). Are there any informations floating around?
  15. Oops, my fault.🙄 I've overlooked the date. Sorry.

  17. There was ("WAS") some really good info there on the "old" forum. But yes, it is/was a true self-aggrandizing site for sure. But may be they got rid of maintaining a dead horse, as this was it the last time. I'm really glad I found Mr. Herschbachs forum and joined. Best regards
  18. Thank you for validation. Yes, it was a mess that all data were lost. So it's a good thing to have a backup. All the Best
  19. Hello. Looks like they're down again since saturday....(or is it only my connection?) Happy Hunting
  20. Hello. Good to know Mike Hillis problem is solved and good to know the TRX is working as it should. Very good help from the users here, thank you. When the TRX arrived I had a www search for files about the TRX and down loaded a extended user manual for the TRX, but cann't remember where?? But for those who are interested I'll attach this here. (hope this is legal !?) May be it will help some other users, too. White's TRX_Extended_User_Manual.pdf
