Will I Get 2 Ounces Of Gold This Year?...
Airtemisa replied to StarVatrex's topic in Minelab X-Terra Forum
Are you in the 2 Oz.? ๐ซ -
Thank you very much for so much valuable information! Knowing this data, I'm thinking doing a quick survey in a pool that has a lot of grass around it... I did a tasting a few years ago, and there are objects of all kinds since 50 years ago, and no one has detected it, it is a club private. Perhaps a cherry picking could be trimmed for gold rings, taking advantage of how well the Manticore can be optimized: - discriminate everything outside 18 to 54 and between 29 to 31 (Euro zone and pull tabs). - close the upper and lower ferrous limits to the minimum, leaving only the "cleanest". The land is free of iron, it is fill dirt and grass. Maybe I could do a test... It's a crazy idea, but it could work ๐ซฃ๐

Looks Like M8's And M15's Are Starting To Appear
Airtemisa replied to phrunt's topic in Minelab Manticore Forum
Many thanks Phrunt. I hope receiving an M8 in the next weeks, so I'm impacient to test it. As Manticore is incredible in beach and underwater, I would like to test MTC in the same scenario with M8... It might be a laser ๐ -
Looks Like M8's And M15's Are Starting To Appear
Airtemisa replied to phrunt's topic in Minelab Manticore Forum
Hi Phrunt, I'm going to ask you to focus on a very specific question: how you have tested M8 and EQX06, what differences you feel between those coils? Which one is more sensitive to gold? And deeper? Which one you handle better? Your thoughts on the comparison between them? Thanks mate... I know its not easy, but I own the 800 with 6" coil, and would like to know what I could expect with the M8 ๐ -
Will I Get 2 Ounces Of Gold This Year?...
Airtemisa replied to StarVatrex's topic in Minelab X-Terra Forum
Yes I agree. The important thing is the Indian, not the arrows. But with a good arrow you will hit the target more often. With the 800 converted to Seaghost I have been diving and getting a lot, lot, LOT of gold for the last 5 years. Now we'll see if the Manticore can do better or not. I keep Seaghost because I feel underwater is going to be difficult to beat it with the 6" coil. I have had Pelso. And also Seaghost, and now the Amphibian IIs. For the moment I'm sticking with the Seaghost, with the 100% submersible EQX800. We'll see what happens over time! -

Great StarVatrex! 2 yellow items! XTP is so sensitive.... (answering your question, I went for the Gray ghost Amphibian II. I own the 800 and Manticore, as a perfect duo. The gray ghost works great underwater because they are piezos, and that's what I needed. A little bit expensive, but it's what they are!) -
Anyone Using The Nemo Blu3 Portable Dive System?
Airtemisa replied to AlbyM's topic in Minelab Equinox Forum
Thanks Luรญs. The problem in that with that one you can't take battery out to flight with it. With Nemo you already can. I fly with Nemo. And the quality of that product... Your life depends on it, you breathe thanks to it. You must be faithful on it. -

Nemo has been discontinued. And I don't know of any other system that gives similar autonomy with the same weight. Does anyone know alternatives? -

New Wm09 Wireless For Manticore & Eqx 700/900?
Airtemisa replied to jasong's topic in Minelab Metal Detectors
I hope WM09 would be for Manticore, EQX900/700 and XTP. But now the module is not included in the selling package, the price will be as high as a new coil... and that would be enough, at least for the medium average of detectorists. -
Overview And Initial Review Of The Accupoint Pinpointer

The game changing will be the Accupoint technology in the body if the Pulse Dive @Nokta Detectors ๐ -
Hi everyone, I own a Seaghost headphones on a modified equinox, and I have to buy a new ones, so Iยดm considering buying another pair of Seaghost (Ukranian ones), or the Gray Ghost Amphibian, but I would like to ask you if someone has tested both and your opinions and advice ๐ซก Thanks in advance!

I,ve been thinking about this for long. If Minelab could give the option for its user to use the extended scale, or the 40 scale, in the configuration of the machine, and send user data options to Minelab when regularly update firmware, so they could have data of the users to watch their preferences, and take the proper decisions. Anyway, its just to get used to the scale. I mainly hunt by ear, so the scale is secundary.

Minelabs X-Terra Pro.... Anyone Enjoying Theirs?
Airtemisa replied to bigtim1973's topic in Minelab X-Terra Forum
Yes StarVatrex, EQX900. XTP is amazing for it's prize, and very sensitive in gold, but that ferrous sound in medium-high depth non ferrous targets makes me feel something is missing. So, I can't get with it, I need best accuracy sound, I hunt by ear, so I make an effort and went for the 900. I have use the 900 only once, and it's like my 800 but updated and a little better. Watch the Sound mod I have done for the speaker, since it's the same measures are for the Xterra Pro. I would like to own the Xterra, but I can't own all them! -

Equinox, Manticore And X-Terra Mod For Sound Underwater
Airtemisa replied to Airtemisa's topic in Minelab Metal Detectors
Hi again, some months later. I tested the Xterra Pro, and I liked a lot. At the moment, I also own an Equinox 800 Seaghost, and sometimes I miss the speaker and the weight and ergonomics of the original 800. Xterra performed well, but I feel I was missing some targets, specially those deep targets at the beach that sounds ferrous, so... I can't get with it, and sold the Xterra and went for an EQX900. With the 900, I have evolved the sound mod, as I wanted to use it as needed, but without "re-building" it every time I use the speaker, and more important, because speakers in salt water gets jammed soon or late... so I adapted a 45mm water bottle cap as shown, for every time I dive. The light goes perfect, the sound sounds perfect, and the mod works. I have a lot of fun thinking about home made solutions ๐ Next week I will be working on another bottle cap, but changing the flat section for a very slim membrane to let the sound wave transitioning to the water, according to the main and original idea of hearing underwater. Minelabs X-Terra Pro.... Anyone Enjoying Theirs?
Airtemisa replied to bigtim1973's topic in Minelab X-Terra Forum
Simply awsome... you count your exits by gold pieces... ๐ -
With love: have you read the manual? If yes, theres something you would like to ask? Once this is ready, the main goal is to set the detector and go for it at the beach. The more you practice, the more you will learn, and a lot of doubts will come to you, and we will hel you!

Hi, how do you maintain the detector every time you get out of the water? Maybe you could give us a clue of whats happening...
