  1. I'm sorry to hear that. That also explains the overly loud crickets chirping from EL Paso. Mike
  2. The 4" concentric coil is fairly new and was released without any fanfare at all. I like it on my EuroTek Pro and on my Omega 8500. Its a good trashy hot spot coil that maintains its small foot print. The 5" DD coil is a good coil too. I like that it gets a bit more ground coverage than the 4" concentric. While the 4" coil is more like a bullseye, like hunting with a 50 cent piece, the 5" DD has a wider field and so you get a little more ground coverage. The trash dictates what you use as these are both really high trash coils. When I sold my F44, I sold it with the 9" coil and kept the 11" Triangulated coil it came with. I also use it on my Eurotek Pro and my 8500, and I also use it on my F75 when i want a bigger concentric coil on it and am ok with an on/off audio response (no modulation). All that said....The 4" concentric is a decent coil and its cheap as coils go if you want a budget minded trash coil. But you won't go wrong with either one. HH Mike
  3. That stone looks large enough that it might have some value.. Nice find. Mike
  4. Thank you for the Intronik STF Operations Manual, El Nino77. That was very helpful. I really like the feature set of this detector. Very impressive. I wonder how much it costs in USD? HH Mike
  5. Is the operating manual out in English yet? HH Mike
  6. Large items are generally easier to detect to great depths so we don't usually spend a lot of time discussion the detection of the larger objects. We tend to focus on small item detection because those are the hardest to detect and most affected by masking and ground minerals. We tend to call large object hunting, "cache" hunting and and most any good detector with a larger coil will detect those target sizes deeper than you would want to dig by yourself. I'll just throw this out there.....holes deeper than your waist are unsafe to dig alone. You need a buddy for deep hole digging. And real excavation requires some forethought before you hop down in there...even bulldozer scrapes....you need a buddy. Mike
  7. What a honker of a ring! Thats what I call TREASURE!!!!! Where is the Envy emoticon! HH Mike
  8. Very nice. It has the pre-fabricated look to it, as if it was hand fashion into some banded item and then lost and the elements has their way with it. Could be a historical find. HH Mike
  9. Can I get a 4" x 18" DD coil for my Impact? Can I get a 4" x 18" DD coil for my Gold Kruzer? Thanks Mike
  10. No Chris Gholson on the list? No Perry Massie on the list?
