The problem is at our age we can get down on our hands and knees to recover targets quickly meaning our neck gets closer to the coil without needing someone to assist us to get back up. ?  I admit though, I do get teased by the wife for grunting like an old man when I get back up, my time is coming so I shouldn't get too lippy! ?

I think Jw can attest to that, I think I grunt louder than he does when we get up after lunch after a hard mornings detecting. ?

No, they have no line input.

There is now an alternative to the Torus too, the Ohm brand makes a certified aptX LL neckband, it may be better, looks a better construction for outdoor use without the cloth all over it like the Torus.

It's available at Walmart, however no line input either.

The Ohm product is not on Qualcomm's list, so it may just be Chinese BS, not low latency at all.... Qualcomm APTX LL Headphones list

Yes it is, AudioComm ASP-W1000N-W Neck Speaker | Qualcomm® aptX™

They're a Japanese audio equipment manufacturer.

Ah, they're listed on the 'portable speakers' section, not headphones.
