That's what grandfather told me, but I don't know if he was talking about detectors at the time. Grandfather passed away and I have had to step up to take care of things for him, and that includes taking care of grandmother. She is getting worse and I believe that soon she will be going into a nursing home. Even at my younger age there are some things that I can't do for her. Badger-NH Posted March 8, 2022 Share Posted March 8, 2022 It's way more difficult to find stuff now than it was twenty years ago as every year more and places get hunted out. We used to just drive around looking for places to detect. Virgin sites were everywhere. Now you have to think outside of the box. Thank you very much and when I am out there with his 800 I feel as though he is there guiding me in the right direction. It just seems so natural to use the 800 to find items even on factory settings.
