Sorry to ask so many questions but this is the most fascinating post in quite a while. We don't get to see many finds from over there. 🤔Often for good reasons. 😀

thanks F350 , I am using the "old" 0.71 version as it still works very well  for me 🙂. I use the SENSITIVE factory prog with very little modifs , I have only changed from 3 to 5 tones and PWM to SQUARE . I dont need to set a  notch as almost all  conductivities can be good targets here , may be except for very low ones like the foils range .   I will try V1.1 later when I have more time available btw . 

90/100 of the trash over here is 1st WW trash . Not 18or 17th musket balls but 1st WW bullets shells . I am not a 1st WW specialist but I have friends who are "militaria" hunters , they hunt 1st WW buckles , buttons , etc ... ( French or German ) . Probably similar to what can be found on your US civil war battlefields ...

I don't blame you at all for not changing to V1.1, my favorite relic program has to be redone when relic season begins here. I've learned a lot from V1.1 beach hunting and will try to "translate" some of that to the Relic program I will create. Again a learning curve 😏

I should have got some summer relic permissions but it's been too hot here. 🥵 Instead I have been enjoying onshore wind from the water 😀

Looks like you have "Mastered" the WS6! 🏆I want to use mine more, and with the new version there is much to learn.

I only found 1st WW trash during the first part of the outing . However as I was going to leave I heard a very clean medium signal which was a very nice medieval silver coin . Very nice find ... This is a feudal coin which is much more difficult to id than a royal type because there are so many existing types . It is dating from between 14 to 16th century I think .. May be a foreign coin 

Anyway happy with this very old coin coming back from the past ..  A few pics :

I'm sitting here having a cup of Joe and musing over the trash or lack thereof that you dug.And I thought to myself heck I would be more than happy to dig a five gallon bucket full of said trash just to walk about such a beautiful and historic place like that and dig a small handful of such amazing and ancient finds...Congrats!

Wow!   How awesome it must be to be able to hunt in the back yard (or is it the front yard), of a medieval castle!   Congratulations on all those great finds!

Thanks for the posts palzynski you have an incredible place to hunt...beautiful as well.... Where I live people think nothing of destroying beautiful old historic areas so they can put in a shopping center...
