What Could That Be?

When I light it up it's glows and I can see through. I found the object on a hill, it wasn't lying but was a bit in the ground.

I was thinking obsidian (volcanic glass) but I thought obsidian was grey/black and that looks brownish in the pictures.  Do you have a banana for scale?  How big is it?

2,1 inches long.

Im from Oregon and our Obsidian is exactly this color and texture and internally lights same as yours... 

probably hauled down by indigenous people to sell or trade and in demand for both arror and spear points

I'm thinking it's obsidian. It can be found in east-central Yuma County.
