Was in found in Oregon? I notice your location says California and Oregon.

There was a Vera G Watson in Oregon around those times especially seeing the latest coin in it was 1920's so it had to have been lost after that.

I'm not sure about the naming having a K, the Vera Watson looks correct to my eyeballs but the middle initial is the confusing bit to me and I'm not good at reading that fancy writing but looks a bit like a G ?

It looks more like a G or 9 to me, but then there is another character after that that looks like a B or 6? So weird.

I wonder if it's Vera Watson and a couple of numbers in the middle?

Pretty sure it is a K.   Good detective work & some nice personal finds with some tragic history. That must have been a fairly well to do household.

We can really appreciate modern detectors that are better able to weed though the chaos left in the ground after a house burns down. I have one at the front of my place. Tough hunting.

Very interesting observation Phrunt. All that I could get was the 1st three letters on the first name and the 1st three on the last. The monogram looking thing or initial or whatever in the middle made my eyes wig out.Found in California.

Man that's wild! When I was a kid myself and my Indian friend would often wonder about the people that lived and hung out at that place.Never considered that there might have been gypsies in those woods. If I dug up a complete outfit like the one you posted that would blow what's left of my mind!
