The 600 has better early availability due to the extra early demand for the 800. For many people the price difference is not that much so they just opt for the 800 automatically.

I will probably end up with an 800 and a 600. The 600 will be the only one to get into saltwater. The 800 will be my dry land unit, and each will back the other up.
