You got that rite I have a set of the Avantree Torus and love them they also have incorporated earbuds built in if you want to go that route

I tried the touching the ground thing but it still would not shut up while in Boost mode, I think it is because of all the Magnetite that is in the ground where I detect, you can drag a 2 inch rare earth magnet through the dirt and it comes out looking like a tennis ball

Picked up a Quest X Pointer max Pin Pointer, I will say this is probably the most sensitive pin pointers I have ever used, and it is a discriminating pin pointer which works very very good, it is more of a tip pointer like the TRX was as it has a dead spot from the tip to the main housing it does give a tone when you get rite up against the main housing and at the tip there is about a 3 inch space between the main housing and the tip where it does not sound off, it has a high, medium, and low sensitivity setting plus a boost sensitivity setting, I started out in the boost setting and actually had to turn it down to medium to high sensitivity because it kept going off in boost mode, the discrimination also is spot on with this Quest X Pointer Max, it has vibration and tone settings with 5 volume levels and I will say this is the loudest pin pointer I have ever used, I currently have the Fisher F Pulse, Nokta/Macro Pulse Dive,Garrett Original Pro Pointer which I purchased in 2009 and now the Quest X Pointer Max, the F pulse I could not even hear the thing at all, the Pulse Dive was so dang heavy it would literally pull your pants down if you had it on your belt, my original Garrett pro pointer was just getting old, so I decided to give the X Pointer Max a try and I will say I am glad I did very nice discriminating pointer that actually works great, the only thing I do not like about the Quest X Pointer Max is the buttons are a little hard to push but I can live with them because all the other features out way the one thing I do not like https://www.questmetaldetectors.com/xpointermax-pinpointer-discriminate just thought I would share

well I imagine if you were out detecting in a snow storm and freezing weather you would be swinging and moving as fast as you could also, I know for sure my fat butt would be moving as quick as I could, I personally would have never been out in that kind of weather trying to do a video to post up so people like myself and others could actually get a look at a detector that is getting ready to come out

I have a couple of phones just laying around that would probably be perfect to use with this detector as long as it did not require a active phone to be used, if it required just the capabilities to use Bluetooth with out needing a data plan, I would assume you would have to have an app and as long as that app did not require a data connection to work with it then you could always connect to a WiFi connection then use a good phone that one might have laying around now if it required you to have a phone that has a data connection then that would be totally different

takes just a little perseverance phrunt to hunt the 14x8 and the 4x6 down and a few PMs to people that have them, they sure cannot shoot you for asking if they are willing to separately sell things I also figure it this way if I ever decide to sell my 24K which is unlikely but if I do having all four coils will be a great selling point that little 4x6 does not have a scratch on it, its like it was never used

Well I finally was able to pick up the final coil I was searching for, for my Garrett 24K, the 4x6 and man it is tiny compared to the 14x8 which is currently mounted to my 24K

I agree with you on the tones they sounded kind of bad but the person that did the Video did not adjust any of the tones and he did say you can adjust the volumes and the pitches of each tone so hopefully by adjusting the tones and pitches of the tones the V80 can be adjusted to sound better.

No where near Flagstaff LOL, I am north of Tucson, we have had snow storms 3-4 weeks in a row, but it has finally given us a break

have not noticed any issues so far with the 1.11, but have not been able to really get out and do much detecting with my Legend since updating, other than in my yard, hopefully will be able to get out some this week now that the Snow has finally disappeared and it has finally started to warm up. And yes we Have had snow where I am located in Arizona LOL.

Quest has acquired a company called Air Metal Detectors, Quest is going to be coming out with another detector that is completely wireless which will utilize your Cell phone as the control pod, scuttle butt from Facebook, Quest also is showing this wireless detector at some metal detecting event in Europe, it will be called Quest Air and by the looks of it will be quite lite hey who doesn't carry a so called smart phone on them any more LOL just thought I would share on DP and yes I have to much time on my hands rite now as we have snow setting on the ground in Oracle AZ so I am just sitting here reading LOL

did you log into your Facebook account after you clicked on the Links, you have to Log into your Facebook account to view, which is what I never took into account when I posted them not everyone is a member of Facebook Just checked them again and they work as long as you log into your Facebook account after clicking on the Link or you can go to your facebook account and log in and look them up

Since there is no longer a 1.08 you cannot go to 1.08 but you can go as far back to 1.05, from my understanding, have never tried it but, if you do go back to a earlier version let us know how it goes I really do not understand why you would want to go back to a earlier version though from what I have noticed with each update there has been many improvements made to the Legend with the added features that have come to us with each new version
