  1. Steve .... $ 1,000,000 for 19 pounds of gold from a 21-pound "Maxi nugget" is a reasonably good price in my opinion .... I'll say life insurance for that ... .... ... in the end, the price of gold will go up again ... it's always like that ... As a bonus, we also receive one of the largest specimens of natural gold found in the US zone ... Although I can call this year my golden year ..... such a Maxi nugget is a dream of almost every gold prospector ...
  2. ..Now let's ask the question, who wouldn't want to quickly detect new terrain and pick from the ground not too deep but interesting targets? This ... 18x4 "Arrow coil .... will have according to my estimate..while it will have a separation similar to the 6X4" sniper coil but with the advantage of terrain scanning length as an 18 "large coil ...., when detecting a coin at a detection depth of up to 6 -7 "inches .... where there can be, for example, a sufficient number of not very deep ... but interesting targets ..... Another advantage is ... here simply. You don't waste time digging too deep pits for the targets that are they can often show up as junk targets .. The rule applies - less depth - but significantly more excavated good targets ... Another important feature, which is given by the small width of the spool, will be ... less sensitivity to deeply stored larger iron ... which otherwise can disguise, for example, on a large coil and a coin at a depth of 6 "/15cm/ .. which is located just above this iron .. I found this interesting effect years ago during comparative tests .. Nel snake 3.5x 6.6 "and standard 11" DD coils on the teknetics G2 detector .. where the coil was able to get a stronger signal from the coin at a depth of 15cm "than the large 11" DD coil .. ...the cause of this effect was a deep-seated piece of cast iron furnace ... which was located directly below the location of the test coin. Even in the plowed field, there are large iron parts from agricultural machines that can make a similar effect .. and this type of coil can eliminate this problem well enough ... 4x18 "Arrow coil... in view of its width will have one more advantage ,,, increased sensitivity to small targets .... which could not be achieved with the usual 18" large coil ..👍
  3. Still something ... you don't always have to have the detector technically the best separation properties ... and not everything is just about separation ... sometimes you just use a detector that you like to use well .. and you have nice finds with it .. I am quite often in Poland ,,, sometimes I am also invited there for detection ..or for testing detectors ... ,, in really difficult terrain ...whit Saper... As for the above detectors ... Minelab Equinox 800, Rutus Alter 71 v.2 and XP ORX ... I have all 3 of these detectors ... and I can say one is a very powerful Top Detectors .. 1. Minelab Equinox 800 is a multifrequency waterproof detector with 8 programs which is really universal, it has good and excellent 2D / 3D separation and depth ... and good ID for targets in 90% depth ... it can work on different terrains .. on the field both on sea beach and water ... I found really nice finds from them ... you can update the software at Equinox ... the price of Equinox is around 970 euros .. ----------------------------------------------------- 2. RUTUS ALTER 71.v.2 ... I have been using Rutus detectors ... since 2012 .. when I bought my first detector .. which was Rutus ARGO v.3 it is still a detector with potential .. I liked the work with Mix mode ... and I prefer working on Mix mode so far ... also with other detectors that I have ... Rutus Alter 71.v2- excellent adjustable with frequency 4.4khz to 18.4khz detector with Mix mode .. with excellent 2D and 3D separation, sensitivity and depth with 180 point quite deep VDI and Graphic signal graph ... I have been using it for several years .. Alter 71 has found me most of my best finds so far ... price 650 euros .. -----------------------------------------------------. ... Now as the Tester of the new Rutus ATREX. ... but I would buy an almost new model .. Rutus ATREX ... because it is technically better and more powerful than Alter71 v.2 .. ..and it works great on different types of terrain ... and the MULTIFILTER function improves already ATREX's excellent detection properties ... even in mineralized terrain. ..I as a beta tester of Atrex I have been testing and detecting for several months .... and I also found some nice finds with it ... You can upgrade the ATREX detector software yourself .... The price of Rutus Atrex is around 650-680 depending on the type of coil. ---------------------------------------------------- 3. XP ORX ... is a very light detector wireless detector with RX from 4 programs / 2 coin programs and 2 gold programs / and a control panel .... which has excellent separation as well as quite good depth, but it does not have as deep VDI identification ... like Equinox or Atrex., .. although it works well in mineralized terrain ... You will find good finds with it .. it is a really good detector ... If you want a very light detector, XP orx is a good choice .... the price of Orx is somewhere around 680 euros ... ...All 3 detectors are TOP detectors ... it's up to you which one you choose .👍...
  4. Steve ... you asked a really good question ..... Yes ..The consistency of the separation results is very important ...👍 The Monte Performance Nailboard test is also mainly about the repeatability of this test .... you can repeat this test with a different coil ,,, or with a different setting of the same detector. .... and so you can improve the separation results of your detector ... and thus improve your detector for a given type of separation ... ...Sometimes you find that just slow down sweeping the coil.. you get better separation results.. On the other hand, in my opinion, "Monte Performance Nailboard Test" ... one of the 3 most important separation tests .. which can really evaluate the separation properties of the detector .... These results can then be easily translated into truly comprehensive detection-separation tests ... on a developed test field .. as well as on excellent detection-separation properties in the field .... The point is that these tests can help extract the maximum detection properties from the detector you are using .... And finally, the most important .... after various separation tests, go to the field with the tested detector and try to detect other new .... iron-masked targets.. !!! Still something ... you don't always have to have the detector technically the best separation properties ... and not everything is just about separation ... sometimes you just use a detector that you like to use well .. and you have nice finds with it ..👍... ------------------------------------------------------- However, I can already say that the topic of separation is important ... and therefore in the Top Digin test field, special test part of the field has been added to.... the for very demanding 2D and 3D separation ... in iron or coke.
  5. Remember 1 important thing ..... The standard "Monte Performance Nailboard Test" uses new nails precisely because ... because it is a standard test ..... and everyone around the world can test their detector or coil ... exactly according to the same test as a main user at the other end of the world ... For your own control ... you can also use your old corroded nails in this test ... Otherwise I have to really thank and praise ... colleague MH9162013... for performing a really excellent and educational test ..... in 2D and 2.5D separation ...👍👍...
  6. ..Mike...... some of the coils I have from the MXT / DFX / detectors - I also work well on the Spectra Vision and Spectra V3 detectors ... an example is this 18 "Detech exceleraror II, but also other Whites coils - which are not directly marked V- rated ..- but meet this standard ... ...The price of the ARROW coil for ACE is somewhere at the level of 120 euros ... but we'll see what the prices of this coil are for other brands of detectors ...
  7. The very idea of an 18 "long and 4" narrow coil of adequately weighing coil../ 770gram / is really good and interesting .. ....There are several 18 "coils for some detectors ... but count with the weight of the coil somewhere beyond 1 kilogram - specifically 1050 grams ... .... Sweeping speed in detection...? ... It will depend on the type of detection and the detector ... but compared to the 6 "coil it will be at least 4X faster because you don't have to translate the coil so much ... and compared to the 11" coil it will be 2X faster .... ,, but I will be very important here also good separation properties 4x18 "ARROW coil because this coil has a width of only 10 cm ... which contributes to good separation ... ...From my point of view I will buy an Arrow coil for Whites MXT / DFX detectors and in my opinion it is very likely that the Arr coil will work well for the Whites SPECTRA V3 detector on some frequencies and maybe also on 3F multi F ... as I prefer the Detector to work on Mix Mode. .... at a coil weight of 770 grams, these Spectra V3aj MXT detectors will be well balanced ... Wide range of options ... setting up these detectors .... getting the most out of this coil .... My 2. Alternative ......for the Arrow coil would be my Teknetics G2 detector ... because .this detector will work with this coil very well ... ,, similar to the Nel snake coil ... it's fast .. and also reasonably deep very stable detector .. detector with very good ID ..
  8. ACE 200 basic detector class ACE has numerical VDI but does not have Pinpoint ... if you want to have pinpoint you need ACE 300 ... I have ACE 400 ....
  9. Rick.......In a lightly mineralized terrain, 1 frequency detector can work really well and efficiently ... provided it is sufficiently deep-performing..but also sensitive to small targets .. and also has a deep ID. when it uses the optimal frequency .... or also the universal frequency / somewhere between 13-18 khz / .... which can still excellently detect different types of targets you are looking for .... and also retains a very good depth of detection .. In neutral terrain.. /0-1 bar Fe3o4/..with a lower value of GB the..terain. .. are a really good single-frequency VLF detector that can maintain an excellent detection depth, often even with relatively accurate VDI targets ...
  10. The depth of a small coil with a width of 4 "can be somewhere in the range 6-8" ../ 8 "is for a large coin / for objects the size of a coin ...- but it will also depend on the type and also the possibility of setting the detector ... ..... in low mineralized terain..
  11. ....So far, I can see the 4X18" Detech Arow coil at one ... dealer in Europe ... and it is intended for Garrett ACE detectors...whit the price 120 euro.. ... I'll wait until the Detech ..come out with a Arrow coil ..for the SpectraV3 / MXT .., G2, or ETRAC ..
  12. Count on 1 more important factor ... "Deus II will also have a 9" coil .. which Equinox still does not have ... I also use other and also really good detectors whit wide VDI and with excellent depth separations ... and which have a wide range of coil sizes ... which prove to be an effective factor in the detection ... The most interesting thing about this whole thing will be ... what XP in the Deusa II will bring Fast Multi frequency / 5-45 khz..../ ... we know that 12 different programs are multifrequently weighed differently and some of these programs have a certain degree of salt elimination. Another thing is how the quality of VDI target identification has been solved. the price of XP Deus II is 1600 euros .. but don't forget that this price also includes WS6 - wireless headphones ... which can work independently with a coil without the use of RC - it is practically Deus II lite.. .
  13. To use a white 9 "HF coil, the RC panel must have at least 4.0 or higher software recorded ... so that the RC Panel can work with white HF coils for * XP deus / ORX. The charge level of the coil can affect the correct connection.. ... ,, I would try to fully charge the coil and re-enter the coil code in the panel for proper pairing of the coil with the RC Panel..
  14. Weighing frequency/Equinox/ is very important in such types of tests ... another difference between the program we have is in the limit of the Iron-tone break ... and perhaps also in the Iron bias ... The case of good mastery of the" Monte Nailboard Performance Test" at Silver Dime is here ...
  15. Tony ... I think you didn't mean it wrong with ATX ,, .... and you just wrote your opinion..Of course, not everyone can have the same terrain as you ... And for someone, the impact on more weight gold can be crucial and here is perhaps the question of what can be done next with ATX ... .There is also the question of ATX settings ... It is no secret that the Discrimination / Timing / setting also acts as a ground filter..and in some situations the lower discrimination setting will work less effectively than slightly higher. That is, Disc 2.5 will not be better than Disc 3 ... Another important setting is the Sensitivity and Threshold settings ... As far as ATX is concerned, it is really a very sensitive PI detector .. and already on a standard DD coil ... it really manages strong mineralization ...as well as various minerals... ..balanced performance of ATX with Minelabs for targets weighing about 5 grams may be quite sufficient for someone .. ...And ATX waterproofing alone can be a key feature for some.......
  16. I think a good test ,, is a relatively simple 3D separation test ... where the coin is placed on 10-11 cm in the ground ... and the nail is placed on the surface of the terrain .... as close as possible to the center of the target./ v deep-seated coin ... where the tested detector can separate the nail well ... and put a good signal on a relatively deep-seated coin .. In this test, Atrex can separate 3 grams of iron nail from 14 mm -0.5 grams of silver hammered coin / placed at a depth of 11 cm / at a distance of 13 cm ... This is a really great result. - so this detector has a really good 3D separation predisposition ... There are enough detectors that have a problem separating such a nail even at a distance of 30 cm from the coin in this 3D test ...!!! 3D separation Excellent detectors can deal with a nail somewhere in the range of 13-18cm..from the place-center ..where the coin is stored .. Another important thing .. At the end of the test, I still have a control test for the correctness of discrimination ... where the signal on the nail itself is right in the tone of iron ... and the signal on a separate coin is a nice non-ferrous signal .. Everything must be clear and distinct in such a test ... In such a 3D test I use at least 2 small types of coins .. low conductive silver coin and high conductive copper small coin ....
  17. Test of the new Garrett Goldmaster 24 ... for 0.5 grams of 24 carat gold under the IRON STONE ... IRON stone is strongly mineralized ... so the sensitivity is stable at Sensitivity 5 max ... Sensitivity 6 will already give an answer to the Iron Stone itself. Many top VLF detectors it s problem eliminate the signal from this Iron Stone and give this Mineralized Stone a positive non-ferrous response .. For effective and stable detection on such a heavily mineralized Iron Stone, it is important to set the detector correctly, which can successfully eliminate the mineralization response from the iron stone and still give a stable and reliable signal at 0.5 grams of 24k gold under this Iron Stone ... For effective detection, it is important to set the detector to mode 2 Ton audio ... and Threshold 3-4 ... Setting 2 tones according to all better signal filters and can smooth the Threshold and data Stable Threshold response to the target in such an extremely strong mineralization ... under IRON STONE ... So mod 2 TONE AUDIO...can be more efficient in such a situation than VCO mod ... because with VCO you will have to go with the sensitivity significantly lower .. Goldmaster 24K setup in test ... Sensitivity 5 Setting 2 -Tone audio SAT- medium Threshold 3-4 Volume 8 Tracking Locked ...
  18. Jeff McClendon .... yes 2 tons work a little different from the sound of the VCO ... each of these modes can have its advantages ... depending on the Type and Terrain of detection .. The 2 tone Audio function is not so dependent on the threshold setting .. as it is with the VCO .. a 6-inch coin in mineralized terrain is a nice result ...👍 .....I will definitely devote myself ... to work for VDI at Goldmaster 24k ...
  19. Steve .. you're right ... that the VDI calculation also includes the conductivity of the material, and there is definitely a difference between a highly conductive pure 24K..gold and, for example, a low-conductivity gold alloy ... .....The VDI range of the tested objects is ....from 53VDI / down-small piece of gold chain / .........to 91VDI / up 0.5 gram 24K gold / ..... ....Also note the relative size and weight of the individual gold objects: 0.01 gram 24k gold =VDI 70 0.02 gram 24k gold=VDI 77 0.1 gram 24k gold =VDI 85 0.5 gram 24k gold=VDI 91 ....The picture shows various tested targets with supplemented real VDI target numbers in this test . ...You will enlarge this picture and see the VDI identification for the tested gold objects.
  20. ATREX is the first multi SMF detector / in Water mode / in which the user can continuously change the multifrequency ... the lower frequency changes in the range of 4.4 khz to 6.8 khz ... the upper frequency at the multifrequency also shifts automatically ... Another first .... at ATREX.. is updating the software using a mobile phone ... so it's no problem to change the software directly in field detection .... ....are you going to search for meteorites? .. so you can download special software for meteorites in the field..... to search for meteorites ...it's a question of 2 minutes max
  21. First of all, it is an effective deep detection or unmasking of a good signal masked by iron ..... Target identification can be very important ... if you focus on detecting a certain type of target ..... A certain type of signal graph can be important ... because it suggests what type of signal it can be .... and especially if you use advanced signal processing for comparison - such as "Multifilter" and "Smart audio" at Atrex ... The color screen not only increases the comfort of detection, but it can also help to read the signal from the signal graph faster ... and I can say that a person will quickly get used to good things ... This year I had the opportunity and I have the opportunity to use 2 new multifrequency detectors of 2021 .... AKA INTRONIK and RUTUS ATREX ... both detectors are very effective in detection ... This means proving targets really effectively ... I can say that every Top detector of a manufacturer I own ... may have a special advantage in a certain type of detection in a given type of detection ...... and that is ... why I will prefer it, for example, over another type of detector. in front of another detector model .... which I also own .. If new detectors from Minelab, XP, and Nokta macro come out in 2022 .. I will have to prove improved decoction properties not only against my predecessors ... but also against my competitors ...
  22. I did some of the first comparative tests ... on various mineralized materials ... For many it will be an interesting test on 97% magnetite .... and Garrett Goldmaster 24K at the lowest sensitivity 0 ,, and sensitivity1 can be stable over such mineralized material ,, if you have a coil about 5 cm high to prevent overload .... ... ,, it is even more important that it can detect a small coin on the surface of such an extreme 97% magnetite mineralized material ... Most of the top detectors .... on this material there is an overload at a height of 15-20 cm ..... or at a low detector setting .. it cannot detect any large coin ... because the detector circuits are saturated with a strong ground signal .. I will try to do a similar test on 0.5 grams of gold ........ and this test will be really interesting ... I'll try another test on Iron Stone .... and 0.5 grams of gold .. where many Top detectors can give a false positive non ferous signal to this mineralizing stone ...
  23. With the Goldmaster 24K ... you can set discrimination from VDI 1 to VDI 62 ..... With this you can effectively eliminate iron nails ..., and small iron waste ... by using discrimination on VDI 50-62 ... you can eliminate certain types of very fine foil from sweetness ,, or very small fine foil .. which will be in the range of VDI 62 ... ... the interesting thing about this detector is the very good ratio of 3-axial sensitivity to low and medium conductive targets ...
  24. My first impressions of ... Garrett Goldmaster 24K is a very stable and yet fully powerful detector on a 6x10 "coil ... It can also be issued ..on 3 low - conductivity targets on my test field .. a piece of 0.05 gram gold stored at 10cm, a small 14mm silver earring at a depth of 20cm and a 14mm silver hammered coin placed at 23cm..in mild terrain ... Goldmaster on sensitivity 10. .and at low, and medium SAT can detect them nicely ... and I like deep VDI target identification .... in this test. Tests were done on discrimination and on audio 2 tone ... such very deep signals .... you already have in the identification of VDI 95 -99... What really interested me in this test is that the detector retains the same range on such mild terrain as in the air test ... Airtest 0.1gram of gold is at 10.5 cm ,,, at 14 mm hammered it is 22-23 cm ... at discrimination and 2 tone audio .. Now mineralization .. At Sensitivity 7 ... it is stable even at strong mineralization of the "golden forest" with a value of 6 bar F3o4 / magnetite .. But I will make more comparisons on various mineralized terrains..strength magnetite, hematite and various minerals ... such as Tesinite, Hematite type quartz from Pirenenei and iron stone ... Now VDI identification ... Identification of VDI Goldmaster 24k ... is very well and interestingly done ... 1.on VDI 50-60 you can identify very low conductive gold objects such as very small open gold earrings, 3mm stud earrings ,, at level 60 -70 other slightly gold low conductive objects .. ,,,, 2. on VDI 70-80 you can already identify some medium-sized old low-conductivity bronze objects ...., such as a Roman buckle .., or parts of it ... 3. VDI 80-88 .... will be a zone of low and medium conductive silver and gold hammered coins ,, as well as more modern coins based on nickel alloys ... 4 .. VDI ..90-99 ... is a zone of very many silver and copper coins .... highly conductive coins .. I am satisfied with the fact that the Goldmaster 24K on the 6X10 "DD coil can correctly identify in the zone of non-ferrous targets VDI 99 ... a 42mm -28 gram large silver ..high conductivity coin ..- 1.Thaler 1870 M-T ... which is a coin the similar size of 1 silver dollar ...
  25. 1 ... More than a year ago .... before the release of Xp white HF coils / with cable and external battery / u Deusa..som predicted that the only way to do and do multifrequency with such technology / wireless transmission RX / -dressless coil is sure to an external source of energy ... because every TX at the multifrequency is a strong consumer of energy ... 2. Wireless coil technology is a comfortable thing ... ,, but I'm happy with all 3 solutions / 1.Coil with cable on top of the rod, and that's most really good detectors / 2 ... coil with cable inside the rod type Etrac and ATX ,, Deus HF ... 3.wireless coil / type DEUS black coil / ... in the end they determine more detection qualities of the given detector.-of course they find .... and also detector balance ... + comfort in detection .. Here it is also necessary to write .. that XP at Deus took good advantage of the wireless coil .. and made a very light detector ...👍 3 ... as far as valuable life finds coins are concerned ../ 16 /. it is most important that the detector uses a detector that is suitable for the given terrain .... but I'll write about that later ..
