Maybe John is getting royalties off of that design. I guess you and I will have to sit back to wait for the videos to see just how good it is . Chuck

Ok Jim I just got off the phone with Jack was his name and he said at this time it will be sold only with that detector. Oh but dig this ! I ask if it was a dual field coil and he said no . It’s a folded and that’s the word he used eight that will be more sensitive to small gold than the dual field coil. If you have a question ask for Jack. Now you know the rest of the story said Paul Harvey. Chuck

Jim I’m going to call Whites in a few minutes and ask about that coil to see if they will sell it straight out . I’m like so many I don’t need the detector. Get back soon. Chuck

Blowing up the picture it looks like it could be crossed between a DD and what else only White’s knows. I still say for anyone wanting a Pulse detector for so little money you need to jump on this with both feet. Chuck
-
The center of the coil looks different than the dual field coil because you don’t see the donut in the center. Chuck

Jim I do believe you hit the nail on the head about Mine John’s coils . I’d forgot about that and I bet they were buying as need be . Then with all the tan metal housing they has to come up with what we see now . I think it’s a great buy for someone wanting a pulse detector with two coils. The trouble for us that already has the detector we just need the new coil . You could say the two coils is half the price of the total value of the package. Maybe next time they will call me for my opinion before they do something next time. haha Chuck

Hey Jim If we could get near one with a Pinpointer maybe we could find out. That way we could test for that little center coil. I don’t think I’d want to take a saw to one to find out . Chuck

phrunt You remember when they came out with the tan control box from the usual black box. They also had Miner John’s coil on it. Now the same control box with a new coil plus a free one . That little 7.5 dual field is a great add on for anyone. I believe with the other coil that they had before wasn’t a mover like they had hoped .Now White’s hope with the new coil and the added dual field this will move their overstock tan TDI SL.. Just my opinion. Chuck

Glenn When you look the picture of the two detectors I guess it’s depth perception makes the coils look like a different size than the other. Funny at first I was thinking two new coil. Well that shot my thinking down.ha Chuck

The odd thing is they all over the net they have this new coil on the same old TDI SL but it’s the first time seeing it here . We the customer lost a lot when Tom left White’s. But lately it has been anything coming out that peaked out interest anyway Chuck

It’s on the net for sale with two coils . The new coil is 7.5 X 12 and the other is that 7.5 dual field coil. Got the same battery pack as before. If you could just buy the new coil and up the voltage on what you got that would be the way to go. I know that I’m not going out and spend 1099.00 to find out either way what’s best . A test on here was just done to how well that 7.5 dual field coil worked. If you can’t buy this new coil without having to buy the whole package then just order the other . It’s more than one way to shin this cat , Chuck

Waiting for someone to give a review. Is it just the coil that was improved are maybe something in the control box like higher voltage? Not so sure about the camo box . I could sit it down and may never find it again. Here we are with another big question mark. New detectors from here there and everywhere and not enough money to buy them all . Chuck

Anyone Heard From Digger Bob ?
Ridge Runner replied to Ridge Runner's topic in White's Metal Detectors
Well I forgot that I had his cell number. I shot him a text on it and if I hear from him I’ll pass it on . Chuck -
The New C. Scope Evo 6000
Ridge Runner replied to LowTide's topic in Metal Detector Advice & Comparisons
Cjc Very interesting! Thanks for posting. Chuck -
I’m sure Bob has had a lot to deal with but I’d hope we’d heard from him bye now. If anyone on here can fill in the void of not knowing . Please reply! Chuck

57Buick In my day of detecting before discrimination I had to dig everything and I know I found more rings. You had to work harder digging in some ground that a pick would have bounce back in your face . You went by the slogan of low and slow but the only thing you may have miss is because it was beyond the detector depth range. I know I’d find more today if I wasn’t relying on discrimination to pick it out for me. I tell you out there that’s still young and strong lower that discrimination and get back to the old ways of detecting. I promise you the reward will be great. When you get older that discrimination may look good as it does to me but don’t rush it. Chuck

White’s It’s Time To Pull The Rabbit Out Of The Hat
Ridge Runner replied to Ridge Runner's topic in White's Metal Detectors
Brain I did but I don’t know if they got it . I didn’t get a response back as of yet . Anytime something I send does not make the trip I receive a notification it didn’t. White’s sales may be going great but on here I don’t see it. Like I said in the past when Tom left White’s we lost our window into what was going on with White’s. I’ve wondered if maybe someone from White’s drops in to see what’s said but never respond to anything. Chuck -
White’s It’s Time To Pull The Rabbit Out Of The Hat
Ridge Runner replied to Ridge Runner's topic in White's Metal Detectors
Phrunt I’ve got a saying I’ve used for years that may fit here . Here it is Spit in one hand and wish in the other to see what one will get full the fastest. Wishful thinking! Chuck -

Ridge Runner replied to Ridge Runner's topic in White's Metal Detectors
What you said looks to be true but sad . I really hope you’re wrong . That’s why I put the sad face on your post . Chuck -
I’m always for the underdog so I think I’ll order one plus the Simplex. It’s a great day when you can buy two for less than what I’ve paid for one . Chuck

New Video On Effect Of Voltage On Various Coils
Ridge Runner replied to Jim in Idaho's topic in White's Metal Detectors
I remember him saying at one point they stop talking to him. He wasn’t asking for a hand out on what he had to offer. I myself think it had to do with White’s Electronics boys didn’t want to look like this guy off the streets knew more than they did. The funny part of it all he did know more. Chuck -
White’s It’s Time To Pull The Rabbit Out Of The Hat
Ridge Runner replied to Ridge Runner's topic in White's Metal Detectors
We have some dealers that come on here .I know one is a great guy and have come in contact with him at treasure shows. The sad thing is when we loss Tom Boykin that was with White’s . He was our window to the world of White’s I guess you could say. I may be wrong but the only person from a detector company coming on the forum is Dilek from Makro. Chuck -
New Video On Effect Of Voltage On Various Coils
Ridge Runner replied to Jim in Idaho's topic in White's Metal Detectors
Hey Jim I thank you for all the trouble you went to. In my opinion the small dual field with the higher voltage done great but Sadie didn’t do bad . It just comes down to if you want to hunt with the best coil you got for small gold the first time are using one that’s not so good. Jim thanks again for your work and making the video. As said Seeing is Believing . The Best! Chuck PS I think Reg offered White’s some mods on the TDI but they didn’t want to talk with him. Correct me if you know different.
