  1. I don’t know if they can get this on the number I got for them but I sent it anyway . Chuck
  2. White’s you have maybe a month to three months to come out with a new detector line , That’s if you want to keep up with the Jones better known as Minelab and Makro . Hope to see the lineup real soon. I know you don’t spend money on flashy videos and beautiful girls and that’s okay with me. What I want to see is American made on the housing somewhere and White’s number one detector company again. You make it I’ll buy it! ( I’ve been doing it since 1966 ) Chuck Anders
  3. Thanks a lot for posting the video. I believe that has to be the best video put out by any detector company. It was enjoyable to watch. Thanks again. Chuck
  4. Chase I didn’t think what the Nox had to offer wasn’t high due that others run 50 60 70 and top off at 80 KHz . You correct me anytime I’m wrong. Like I tell my wife I have been wrong but just can’t remember when.haha Chuck
  5. Chase You know more than I’ll ever know about detectors and that’s okay with me . The trouble is what you call high and what I do is different. That don’t make either one of us right are wrong. I always look forward to your post because I believe you want to help anyone like me that’s not up on all this electronics now days . Thanks again! Chuck
  6. It’s not a gold detector so all the frequencies should be in the lower end and not be any need for higher frequency. If we had our way and was able to pick the frequency that would up the cost of the Vanquish. The only thing I know is it’s still red and with a 8 sided face . It’s like mine if I hang around long enough you start liking it . I believe the Vanquish will be the same with you . The Vanquish may just fill the bill for us old guys that don’t like putting a strain on the brain. Keep it simple! Chuck
  7. If it’s as near as good as the ad Minelab puts out I Want It ! I like a woman in red but here a metal detector in red is taking her place. Chuck
  8. Chase You have to understand what a Texan says and what he means may be two different things . I’ve got to give you credit for trying to understand me but if you can’t don’t feel bad . My wife has the same problem. You said you’d like to have the 8” coil that’s going to comes with the Vanquish . Do you have the 6” coil for your Nox? Chuck
  9. The only thing it showed me is he is walking faster than the ground he can detect. It looks as if he’s out for a afternoon stroll 🚶‍♀️not detecting. C.Scope is a new one to me but what part of the world they from? I’ve seen that name before and I believe it came from Kellyco . Chuck
  10. Garikfox Thanks for posting . I guess we’ll know before the day is over with on how hard the pain it will be on our pocketbook . I said I want it to be a sad day for everyone when I go and at the rate of buying detectors it will be, Chuck
  11. Heck I think I’ll go buy me another Nox 800 being the Vanquish is not coming in T Pink . Chuck
  12. Noah You just said a mouth full but if anyone ever spoke the truth I’d say you just did . Chuck
  13. I hope it has a low profile like the Nox and Simplex. If this is it then Garrett must have sent them cases from their old A T Pro. Oh please let tomorrow get here and soon. So we don’t have all theses WAG’s ( wild ass guess). Chuck
  14. Phrunt I too got the same email and wondering how much we’ll see this time. The Vanquish may be like some girls I knew in that they play around hard to get they may not get got . haha It will draw a lot of interest whatever we see this time. If this is a disappointment it will be a first I’ve seen coming from Minelab. Chuck
  15. Mike Well taken . It’s not one person on here that likes everything the same as another. What you like and others like is why I started this post. The funny thing say what floats your boat in a detector and mine too Maybe the next guy says then two has fallen off the turnip truck . Back when if you wanted know what your detector detected you had to dig it . I know I found more rings and lots other items but I knew I didn’t miss much. With the detectors we have now and with age trying to catch up with me I’ve gotten lazy. I like to pick and choose of what I want to detect. Remember too we have to leave something behind for the young guns so they don’t get disappointed and give up detecting . Chuck
  16. Glenn I done a dance with about the same thing. We too seen it coming and I had a two man tent. It was four guys in that little tent and happy to have it . On top of a mountain above tree line you stand out like a lightning rod. It pays to be safe than sorry. Chuck
  17. Kac I’ve hit penny spill but never nothing like that before. What year did the dates run on most ? Chuck
  18. Glenn That is some beautiful gold you got . I see you’re hunting above the tree line . I too have done the same but if you see one small black cloud coming your way best to head for cover. It’s amazing how much lightning comes out of one small cloud. The claim I was on was above Granite Co. I think the guys first name was Jim and last time I was there he had it up for sale. Because of that he wouldn’t let you detect anymore. Chuck
  19. I’ve done lots of times on my 800 on what you circled. On my first post this is what I said I like to do . Call it what you wish but it still comes down to blocking out deleting out are discriminating out a number. ID number is still a number and I still like removing it anyway I can one number at a time. Chase have a good evening. It’s 11:15 PM here and I need my beauty rest . The Best To You Chuck
  20. Chase You have got me on this one because I had the Nox 800 and I’ve got to be getting old because I never seen a button on the face that said reject . Now if you’re talking about a number relating to a certain target and deleting it then okay. If this is it ? Then this is what I’ve been saying all this time that I like. Have we come full circle? Chuck
  21. Hey Chase I’m a old dog but I still like to learn from others like you that know more than I’ll ever know. I’ve been detecting for a very long time but it never cared what made my detector work are how. If I could I’d step back in time to 92 when my Eagle 2 was new but at the same time reach into the future. Today is my future from 92 and it’s so many things we have now I’d add to my Eagle. One thing the Eagle 2 had that I liked so much was the reject button. If you had it with digging the same thing over again just hit that button and swing the coil over it. Then like magic it was gone . You did need to remember to hit that button again because if not it would delete everything. Maybe you know if any of white’s detectors still do that ? Chase this time in my life I post more so to learn not educate . Chuck
  22. FWest I too find the ORX easy to use but I do love the weightlessness . Glad to see it paid off for you already. The Best To You on your ORX In the coming days. Chuck
  23. Hi Chase It’s all about what you like and what I do also . We can go back and forth all day but it still comes down that we want the best that money can buy . I guess I should have said more for less . I see you wanted to dig deeper on this subject matter than I. It’s like when my wife ask me about something and I tell her that I don’t know. Her reply back is that they didn’t call you again. Here I am again in they didn’t call me on the Vanquish are the Simplex. If the powers that be want to do so here is my number ( BR 5-5555 ) Chuck PS Chase I never want someone to totally agree with me! If that was the case we would never learn something new . That’s what this forum is all about and that’s learning more each day from others like you. Oh no not me . I belong to over the hill gang.
  24. Hi Chase This is what the Dictionary says A-V-shaped indentation /I know I didn’t take my knife out and make a mark on my detector. B- a split made to serve as a record/ I myself like to split off one number at a time. Now you can call it notching are discrimination but when it comes down to it it’s the same thing but said and used differently. I like to block out one number at a time . Some detector companies like to group block and some people like that . I guess you could say I march to a different drum beat . We just don’t go down the same path . It’s all about what makes you and myself happy and that’s where we spend our money. Chuck
  25. Phrunt Thanks for your opinion on my post. I place the post just to get different opinions like yours. I don’t care if it’s weight, frequencies and like my post on notching everyone has their own opinion. Opinion don’t make me wrong and you right are the other way around. It just shows like different detectors people are different in what they like are dislike in a detector. I’m sure it’s others out there that has their opinion of this subject so step up and express it. Chuck
