Popular Post phrunt
I had a bit of a hiatus from the forum, it wasn't long before I departed I did a post about which coil to use on my GPX to look for of all things, a train ? That's right, I was going to use my metal detector to find a train! Well, in the end the trains were found and so far one recovered, I thought I'd put this video up for those interested in a bit of train history. A bit of a funny story, for train lovers its a big deal, unfortunately I'm not a train lover but I do appreciate what they were trying to achieve and they did achieve it. I'm sure given enough time and a big enough coil I could have found it with my GPX! These guys found it using historical information and a dirty great big digger. There is more of them, you never know what I'll dig up with my Nox, CTX and my shovel. 8 2 1

A piece of iron that big would surely be a high tone. It certainly has the classic look of a train from the period.

Valens Legacy
Well if you do get to find one of them I know that you are going to need a bigger shovel and a little bit more muscle to get it out of the ground. Thanks for sharing. 1
MSC
Cool story, amazing that there is that much left of the engine after all this time. Hope they can find enough money to restore it.
