Ya know thinking about it even back then ML made monos for the 3000 and the 35 so I can't see them making them if they did not work because it would be just dead money, but like all machine whether it is a PI or a VLF a person should change the coils to suit the ground conditions So really it is more about matching the machine / coil to the conditions, even on a VLF if the ground is too hot we go from a Concentric to a DD and the same rules must apply to certain PI's Aye.
