Has Anyone Used The Nexus Mp V3c For Nugget Hunting?

Seller cancelled the Ebay purchase of the Nexus MP V3 and refunded the money. He said his shipping label failed to scan at the post office.

I emailed Nexus about use on salt water beaches and got this reply:

V3 can be used on salt water beaches, but not like the V2. Where the V2
is very easy for use on salt water beaches, the V3 is very challenging
and it's therefore not advertised as a beach detector.

Because gold detecting sometimes involves hunting on saline lakes (Australia) or in saline soils, perhaps the V2 would be a better choice.
