So sad to hear this. Jim was one of a handful of guys who went out of their way to help me out when I was a keen rookie with many curly questions. I hope he knew how much he was respected. RIP

I never met Jim in person, but had corresponded with him many times over the years. I have many of his books. He will be sorely missed.

I wrote Jim last November and when he wrote me back he said to keep in touch.  He never had said that to me before and now I see why.  Oh how I wish I had gone over to his house,  I sure will miss him.

Jim was a friend of mine. The picture is from 2003 out in the Randsburg Ca. area. My son who is 21 now, Jim and I.  He will be missed.

Many of you have heard of the Klondike and so have I.  A few of you would know it quite well so you can tell me whether this modern day version of the old Klondike is accurate.  I found it an entertaining read.

A sheet of gold has been created that is two atoms thick.  It is called nanoseaweed because it is green.
I'm sure some exists in nature and we can find it with the right detector, an elliptical coil, some  proper coil control and just a little luck!

After we find it are we going to have any complaints about dollying it up?  😁

Here's a interesting read. If this asteroid crashed on Earth, it could make everyone a billionaire and collapse the Earth's economy. Crazy!

Looks like instability in the Persian Gulf has had one positive outcome with gold topping AU$2000 for the first time.
Certainly will run higher but may need to consolidate first. Traders taking profits may also push it down:
