Set the Equinox volume to max-25. tones will be sharper and clearer ... you can also adjust the audio with the Tone Volume feature set it to max 25 ... then adjust the volume only on ML 80 earphones ...

My first observations from equinox in multiple frequency separates better and is deeper and faster than SpectraV3 at a multi frequency ... Equinox at 50 eurocent -40cm -to recovery speed 1-2 strong signal with ID 2-6, with coil 10-12 cm above ground, for recovery 5-6 to 6cm above ground - program park2 - sensitivity 23-24 ... Equinox on small 15 mm in 30 cm deep coin works better for recovery 3,4,5 - signal ID 2-8. it is signal-deep coin ... Gold programs take both coins with strong signal Id 2-8 ... programs Park1, Field 1 on a small coin less suitably ... but coin 50 eurocent I take all program- in sensitivity 23-25 wery well signal, and beach 2 weak signal ..

Mike, I have no doubts about the multifrequency Spectra V3 is a very good detector, and I also know you are very experienced detectorist - not just because of the Spectra ... If the lower recovery speed is a longer signal, and the separation is not so important, you can also use the higter Iron bias filter to get more comfort of detection - for example, less false tones than iron, bottle cap, and so on. So also use iron bias by type of terrain and detection type ....

Recovery speed is also a ground filter - high recovery will more filter the ground signal .. - in more mineralized soil - it is better to high recovery speed ..in-low mineralized ground lower recovery speed may be more deeper.... The difference between Park2 and Field2 is :... equinox transmits in 5-80khz and accepts 5-40khz, and over 40khz all filters .. under the patent ...
