Silver plated? The ring has no markings and looks plated. The bracelet actually is pretty nice for costume jewelry and the clasp works very well. Not sure how it opened up for it to fall off. I spent a few minutes looking for the chain that the pendant was on. The chain had to have opened or broke since the pendant hoop ring is intact.
