Steelheader Posted October 10, 2023 Share Posted October 10, 2023 Found this yesterday out in the field of a local middle school. It is a 10K gold religious pendant. It is very thin and only weighs .9 grams. This is the 4th gold that I have found with the Deus 2 this year. I was using my "Pitch" program which is a modified version of the Fast program. The only changes that I made to the Fast program are, I set the discrimination at 10 and I set a notch from 11 to 35. Because the pendant is so thin it came in at a TID of around 40-41 on the Deus 2. That is down in the range where a lot of foil shows up. I don't always dig targets in that range, but for some reason something told me to dig this one. I'm glad that I did.
