Hi George. Not sure about the E1500, but the 11&14" detech spirals ran well on the single channel QED.

At higher settings they were the quietest spiral on the Q, (though not the most sensitive)

Perhaps the different timings on the E1500 will give them an edge!?

Yes! Spiral flatwire wound, should get your best depth with that coil.

I'm confident it will work fine, I'd be extremely surprised if it didn't, I think virtually every mono coil will work fine.
