Using Satellite Imagery In Search Gold

Recommended Posts

Hello, I want to share my experience in gold prospecting, more than 10 years of experience. I am in Russia, writing through a translator, so please forgive my English. Satellites have given us a great opportunity to search for gold; I use a variety of maps such as Google, Yandex, and the Alpine Quest phone application. I’ll add a few screenshots of the screen and coordinates, all this is located in Russia

This is manual gold production, there is a high probability of finding nuggets, and there is also small gold.

I also use geological maps. Can someone add pictures of what mines look like in their region?

There are also high concentrations of gold here. such places of pulp collection as "sunk basin" "sump", and places of pulp discharge from the gateway "head".

He's looking at old workings...

I use Google Earth for locating old timer workings & then may go close to a location & then put up a drone.

In the very early day of metal detecting (late 1970s ) in Victoria Aust. First it was Aerial Photo to find surfaced places. Google Earth was released (originally as  EarthVierer 2001 ) and by using Government Databases it allowed more locations to be found easier.
