Before customers can actually get the detector I am sure.

Before making a choice between 600 and 800, you need to read the manual and understand how they differ.

That information is in the brochure and quick guide, but I can understand a person wanting more detail via the manual.

Anyway, the good news is the Equinox will be heading out to people by the end of January. The bad news is it will be rather quiet (again) the next couple weeks what with holidays here and in Australia.

Quiet at Minelab, you mean?  Because the noise on this forum has been deafening since mid-September and I don't expect the holidays to slow that down.  Sometimes there's been good 'signal' in that noise, too, just like detecting.
