Norvic
That lovely yellow stuff financed my GPZ, found by the mighty GPX 5000 and lots of boot slogging. Had no choice but part with the gold, dealer wouldn`t take the Missus as trade-in.
Peteren
I am still wondering how them ZED guys came up with 10 grand each to buy them things? Did they remortgage their house, take on 3 jobs, sell their first born, rob their retirement accounts, run up the credit card, or just happen to have 10 grand sitting around to toss away? I wonder what they figger the payback time will be, days, months, years, decades? Not gonna happen for me, retirement isn't far away and I gots to save my pennies..tired of working.. -Tom Sold a kidney to fund the Zed and sold options on a lung for the CTX ;-))

tvanwho
but all the prospectors I know are the worst cheapskates and claim to be broke all the time, including me...
klunker
Dowsing rods may be the best alternative to owning several detectors. There just isn't one detector that will do it all- yet. Technology is advancing much faster than my brain.
Steve Herschbach
My goal is to get down to six or no more than eight detectors but that is going to be really hard for me. A couple detectors I really like may have to go. Tom, many prospectors make money with their detectors and so they are an investment. The gold found with the last detector pays for the next one.
Norvic
Dowsing rods, bloody hell there`s even more variations of them than detectors. Ones for right hand, left hand for finding water, gold, silver, sheilas etc etc. Made of wire, wood, plastic etc etc and now even space age carbon fibre.
