Careful with that varja Eugene!
-
Thanks for the replies. When they first came out i was really interested but ended up waiting for the nox. No pic of factory coil probably concentric. Has the NEL coil in pictures. Be a nice backup or loaner for the money. $300 Not buying anything for awhile
-
Are they concentric or Double D? One for sale sort of close by and has a NEL hunter coil too. It's the purple one and has Garrett head phones. Never ventured to the Delta side of Tesoro. Golden µmax and compadre in the past.

Strange Silver... Coin Or Jewelry Or Both
dsb replied to CPT_GhostLight's topic in Metal Detecting For Coins & Relics
Sure looks like it. That looks like a great day! -
I had the Go-find 60 when it first came out. Used it on construction sites and town parks working out of town. Nice and compact, flip open and go but seems flimsy. Got 6" dimes and i would say overall decent depth for the money. It's a battery eating light show though, no need for the light bar on top. Distracting really. Pinpointed well and the 4 tones were good and lightest detector I've tried. Was great to have behind the seat when you find those curb tear outs and such. Found some great coins with it just because it's so handy. If it was less toy looking, light show gone or switched and a tougher recessed screen i would have kept it. 3 1/2 stars because it's compact, fast start up and simple. $200!

Minelab Manticore Update Today (oct. 18th. 2022)

PHRUNT you type faster then i think, was going to post this. Somewhere in the info PHRUNT added i found this Quote. LC3Plus will boast a latency time of around 5ms, much quicker than SBC's 100ms. Latency may vary by device? What ever it's good news. With all the test graphs i saw in the FCC report I'm sure someone will distill it into dirtynesse for lugs like me. -
Looks Polynesian or maybe New guinea too me. Cool for sure, found in U.S.?
-
Those are pretty close to what i cant find Dan. If i don't find mine will get those, thanks.
-
Cant find the buds i used last year (dont remember brand) that i found in the junk drawer. Been searching but nothing so far. Seen the XP Waterproof Headphones with 1/8" Jack and wondered if they would work. Old set of Apple's only work if i hold them in but spring back when i let go. Thanks

Findings Recovery From Cracks In Rocks
dsb replied to Airtemisa's topic in Metal Detecting For Jewelry
Ginseng hunting i use one one these with the blade knocked off and handle cut down. -
No cracks on mine (NOX) and finally had it underwater briefly, whew! Minelab could get a lot of us off the fence by releasing some well produced vid's. Give it to their detectorists and show some hunts with screen shots and dig results. Not a big production cost, people put these out every day. Tweaking software i understand but get some well produced content out. Everything so far is a jumbled up mess. Had enough of 5 people blabbing while answering livestreamers questions.

Think i lost the original headphone due to no tether. Left them on the bumper while putting the 800 in the truck, not used to no cord is my excuse.

I'm a total dummy at this stuff. So The 6000 is bluetooth only and uses the ML 100 phone's. ML100 will work with the manacore. ML80 are bluetooth but not compatible. Thought BT was BT, but not when it comes to M/L i guess
-
Maybe this is old news but in one of the last videos she said you could use the 6000 head phones with the manchukuo.

By the look on his face i think he's gazing at his 13th bottle cap.

I think civil war commemorative of some sort. Grand army of the republic maybe. i see crossed swords, anchor, two guy's shacking hands. Maybe a north/south convention item. Cane handle does sounds a good guess. Interesting find!

here is the live stream Some confusion about the negative 0-100 numbers, she had to check that out but stated "no negative numbers" before someone stated they saw video's that showed them. Good look at the coil connecter in previous video, about a 6 inch extension basically. Cheaper then a new coil for sure but surprised it's not a whole lower rod, kinda clunky. Water hunters what do you think? Looks like more drag and a weed catcher. Couldn't tell what their comparing to the gold ring. Ring was a 26 and the other was either a rusty bottle cap or pull ring or square tab but I.D. was 29.

FISH ON!😉 I'm not biting yet! Winters coming and i need tires. About March i keep telling my self, see if i hold out.

Wont drive for awhile due to thyroid acting up. But swept the yard again with the 11" stock and the Coiltek 10x5. I made my own C/F Rod in 2018 and never took it off. They sent the new replacement rod but never used it until today. Just put the stock coil on the new lower. It's really a tight fit in my C/F rod. Anyway i hit my trashy hard hit yard with the stock coil in park 1 no FE but changed ferrous 2 to 1 and knocked out ID 40 after two rusty iron fakers. Found a couple copper penny's among the junk and had to work at it. Switched back to the 10x5 coiltek and found another in same ground i went over but it rang up like silver 29 to 35. It always ID's penny's high, anyone else notice this? Regular coil will do it occasionally. Rejected 40 cuz i i thought it helps in junk or for depth. Quit sooner than i wanted but will play more in the morning, never gave the coiltek enough time, got to be another nickle at least in that mess.

Sun Ray Inline Probe For The Equinox Announced!
dsb replied to Cal_Cobra's topic in Minelab Equinox Forum
Be nice to not have to set your detector an arms length away. Weight, could be a useful counterweight! Bought 2 detectors from them when they were in Iowa. Glad to see new owners are keeping the inlines going. -
Minelab 6 Inch Or Coiltek 10x5 For Nox 600?
dsb replied to fogrider's topic in Minelab Equinox Forum
I have the coiltek 10x5 not the M/L six but way back i had a 4" tesoro coil. Super trashy i would feel better with the M/L six inch. But i love the coiltek in the water and parks as i'ts shape helps a lot in trash. Thats just from using the old tesoro golden umax with the 4", it could pick out good targets very well. Your swings per step will double with the six but people really like it where modern trash hides good targets. Small coils in trash must like nugget hunting, ears get a work out. -
Manticore...... Will It Leak Video From Gigmaster
dsb replied to Jeff McClendon's topic in Minelab Manticore Forum
I do a crack check when i get out of my truck😃 If its something that got by quality control how many dealers would let you open the box? I really think the mannacoin has been tested every which way in real world conditions. If i was buying a M/L land/water machine I'd have to go manicure
