  1. Have to get rid of that weird dialect first Dave, but we are working on it. Mn WHERE??????????????
  2. Suspect at this early stage tis the DSP of the Monster combined with its auto sens & auto gb, that may be the future. The power of the processor in short. Time will tell, exciting stuff.
  3. DD, that was wise not getting Nurse Paul to pack your detector in........................ Beware BB with his 3030, but most of all soak it up and enjoy.
  4. Hottest ground, snakes & spiders galore, great white crocs opps sharks, fall bears, triantiwontigongalos. Crikey there are some myths, must`ve been that Paul Hogan fella floggin the Harbour Bridge.
  5. Fred spot on, "Let me tell you about Old Man Emu opt to do da da, he can`t fly but I`m telling you he can run the pants of a kangaroo................." John Williamson. Google him he is a top OZ C&W song composer & singer. Although I haven`t seen nurse Paul run yet, suspect he`s stuck in low range. Gotta go and stop the lad Proposing to Sarah and thus blow the deal.
  6. No No Mn, Paul contacted ML directly and they dealt with him directly, MLs top offer has naught to do with me except Pauls address (he notified them after they offered) is c/. of me. It is simply the generous human side of ML, also as we of DP know if there is one guy who has a heart of gold it is our fellow member Nurse Paul, it is just magic to see him being on the receiving end of a generous deal. Just don`t tell him I said this or his bloody hat wont fit and he`ll be prancing around OZ like a bloody peacock............
  7. No worries JP I`ll be hovering like a hawk in the background, making sure................
  8. Yeah, Minelab ( Codan) have always been a Company that produces top products along with top customer service, to assist Paul as they are now with a loan control box for the duration of his stay down here clearly demonstrates this. Thank you Minelab, even though he had a SDC and a brand new Monster to keep him busy with I had to lock my Z away from him. Now I`ll be able to detect with complete concentration on those signals rather then peering behind continuously, wondering when he was going to attack. Nothing worse then a Yank with Zenvy....................
  9. Sleep!!!!!!!!!!!!! How can one sleep 50 yards from a unmuffled chainsaw........................
  10. CG gotta concur ML have done it again, the Monster is dynamite on that small stuff. I spent two days of fun behind the Monster in what I consider the hottest ground in NQ AU that sees 1000s of MDs annually, it is a hot VLF with lightening fast auto GB, and discrim that is as close as.
  11. Did some late night kindle reading while out on the gold. Thank you for a top read Dave. Top rip roaring twisting story that leaves you twisted up totally on the final page......................
  12. We are back at base after a top trip, being away from mobile service, Paul is currently on top but I`ll leave that for Paul to give you his good even remarkable news, needless to say I think the lad has had some of that good Karma he spreads come back.
  13. DDancer, get up into the WA Kimberly coast estuaries , you`ve gotta tie your lure on behind a tree or the barra will take it out of your hand.......... no no not a fish story at all
  14. Strick, Oz shorten barramundi to barra. We call barracudas, pick handles, but they are sure fun and put up a crazy high speed fight wheras our bara, usually jump 1-3 times trying and successfully most times to dislodge the lure. Hopefully will get Paul one or two and he can post a photo. The barra because of its small head size have good size white fillets, not quiet the best eating fish but still top eating, with a feed of barra being well sought after for many visitors to the north of OZ where they live in either fresh or seawater. Magic fish to catch, especially in winter, when they are a challenge to get onto. Paul is finding out about the remoteness, low population of NQ AU, thus the only places that get overnight service are the State capitals and a few regional cities. It is that remoteness and low population that makes it the paradise overseas visitors in particular like to see, tis a local call to JC here.
  15. Will be interesting to follow your experiments with discrim, notch and negative discrim. I have put off getting a HF coil until the elliptical arrives and can see XPs method of attacking ground noise and trash is exciting stuff.
  16. On ya Strick, a "Wacky" (Viking) and a mad dog. Same things as in downunder backyard...........
  17. I suspect to get the stability that the poly-carb gives it needs to be bonded direct to the coil, I`ve also done it to the 14 and surprisingly it has stabilised it to some extent I have found this makes it too a better quieter coil. Maybe just a personal thingo but I doubt it as has noticeably upped my yield.
  18. BB how about we firstly have a random annual cull day on watermelons................they are the ones need culling most desperately for sure.
  19. Yeah my Monster is due by Tuesday, looking forward to some fun when the arms been over 19ened, weather is magic, bit of frost this morn down in the lows for sure. Crikey you allowed the book interfere with gold in this weather.......... what are you nuts.
  20. Nurse Paul hasn`t found any gold in the park with the Deus, what`s he doing tis laying around everywhere.................
  21. Try Phonexis poly-carb skid plate with the 19, gets rid of most of those "knock signals", I too am back up at your insane settings but found leave the vol on 7 and use the B&Z booster. The 19 is a magic coil, should have my Monster Tuesday, really looking forward to my first gold VLF since the Striker bit of fun.....
  22. On ya Dave, tis on the kindle ready for a wet prospecting day, looking at the weather be awhile before I get at it. Vic
