Popular Post phrunt
Well, it's that time of year again, some of us will be having new detectors as presents under the tree, one of the various new detectors to hit the market recently or perhaps an IOU for the ones that didn't quite make it in time. I look forward to hearing how you all go with them. No detectors under the tree for me unfortunately, although I wouldn't mind if Santa sneaked in a last minute GPX 6000 or XP Deus II for me. He's a bit of a hero of mine, what kinda guy lands a job that he only has to work one day a year! I like that, I like that a lot, that's a job I'd do so perhaps when he retires I might apply for that one. He's surely getting on in the years, getting down those chimneys can't be too easy for him these days. You may think I'm a bit early, but I'm not, it's now 7pm on Christmas eve in NZ and by the time most of the Americans read this post when they wake up in the morning Christmas will be well and truly underway in NZ, we are the first country in the world to reach the big day, Santa's first stop! Something kids love, it's always exciting for a kid to find out they're the first kids in the world to get presents from the big guy in red. For those heading off on detecting adventures on their Christmas break, I wish you luck! Hopefully you find your desired targets. For me that'll be a bit of sluicing and plenty of detecting, I've got my GPZ, Nox 800 and Garrett 24k on charge ready to go, fingers crossed I come away with a few chunks. Enjoy your Christmas everyone. 17 12

Valens Legacy
Simon, I for one am glad that you are a great person, being nice and working hard to be nice to everyone. I have only known you for a short time but consider you a friend and I wish you a Merry Christmas. I know that you understand what happens when you are on Santa's naughty list, if not I will enclose a picture of it. 1
mn90403
Simon, Simon, Simon ... Santa only works one day a year my lad? Come on now. You must know that at least Santa makes a list and checks it twice ALL YEAR. Then he has to get that sleigh (surfboard for you and Hawaii and those neighbors you have downunder) ready. He only Delivers one day a year. I'm hoping Norvic sold a couple of his nuggets and is posting you one of those detectors. I think the strings attached to a Norvic detector are that you have to pay him back if you like it. If you get a new detector from Santa he doesn't need to be paid back. Have a Merry Christmas and go find some nuggets. Mitchel

rvpopeye
Waaaaait ! I thought Santa started out delivering up close to the workshop first ! There must be a mistake. He's at the NORTH pole , not the south ! It's the other way around ?? A day earlier you say ? This news has disrupted the force. I'll need to recalculate...............? Merry Christmas and leave some eggnog in the bowl OK ?

I don`t know the go Rvpopeye, is all upside down, Phrunt and JW will be opening their pressies now, over here in OZ in about another hour and up your way closer to the North Pole, tomorrow. No sense in it at all, the literal ones will start talking about time zones etc etc and just confuse us more. Main thing is Santa doesn`t get lost or we`ll all be "up the creek in a barbwire canoe" 2
